Heidelberg Academic and Sporting Academy

Heidelberg Academic and Sporting Academy (HASA) offers students the opportunity to develop professional level soccer skills in a European setting while taking course work leading to a bachelor degree in Business and/or Sports Management from Heidelberg College, an accredited American University.
Royal Racing Football Club, Montegnee is a professional soccer club which occupies a five acre sports complex outside of Liege, Belgium. The facility includes a stadium, clubhouse, locker rooms, and several practice fields. Heidelberg’s academic facility, including classrooms, library, computer lab, student lounge, dining area, and administrative offices; is located at the RRFCM facility. The student lounge includes foosball tables, table tennis tables, and television; and the academic building contains a wireless network.
Heidelberg Academic Program

During the 07-08 academic year, courses leading to the Business Administration and Sports Management majors as well as a selection of general education and elective courses will be offered to students who enroll, full time, in the Heidelberg Academic and Sporting Academy (HASA). Pending final approval Heidelberg will expand the initial year into a four-year program leading to the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and/or Sports Management.

Academy students are Heidelberg students and will be enrolled, registered, and held responsible for academic policies required of all students. Transcript and official records will be maintained on the Tiffin, Ohio campus and all courses offered at the HASA site are fully accredited and identical to those offered on the main campus and may be transferred to other accredited US public and private colleges and universities. All academic courses and soccer instruction are conducted in English.
The academic calendar will follow, as much as possible, the same academic calendar as Heidelberg’s Tiffin, Ohio campus. Students should plan to arrive in Belgium in mid-July for pre-season training and orientation sessions. Soccer season will begin in August and last until May, with a three week mid-winter break for over the Christmas period, December to early January. Games will be played once per week on a Saturday evening or Sunday afternoon.

We did that once Paul, then your mate Junior decided he wanted a bigger slice and we've been paying for it ever since.

Hi Chuckle

We are a little different to BCAFC, we are a football club / academy designed to develop and move players on to pastures new. 99% of our players will leave the club with a university degree and a 1st class football education, this is why we are attracting the high level young players from around the world..
Next year the entire RRFCM playing squad will be under 20, in a full time training & educational environment. We have a very good crop of young players coming to the club in July, which will be the base of playing squad for the next few seasons. I have very high hopes for a number of our new recruits and I am looking forward to seeing them develop over the next few years.
We have no financial problems, no debt, our own facilities, a structure 2nd to non in Belgium, plus a realistic view on our progression as a football club..

Regards

Paul

If your that good Mr Dropping why are you linked up to a club such as Bradford City and not a club with more clout.....Morecombe....Accrington Devaney or maybe Guiseley spring to mind.
Would you like to have a word with my mate Terry Dolan at Guseley?:)

Has Terry gone back to Guiseley?? I was talking with him last week & he had left them a while ago..
I actually have Johnathon Gomez playing at Guiseley, whilst he is training with BCAFC.

Jantje

The management made a decision not to sign him, but he wanted to stay in the UK, so Mark Ellis took him to Guiseley.. He will be there to the end of the season on a non contract basis?
I got sent this yesterday..

We were offered players plus a £300000+ a year budget to partner with a EPL club, but we decided BCAFC was the better option.
It has never been about money, its just about football!!! We are very happy with BCAFC and we are looking forward to a long term relationship..
