Did he have this problem in Chile?
Was nothing detected during medicals and trials over here?
All very strange and signs of another cock up appearing on the horizon
We now have a problem with a player who can't play 90 minutes
Is it not better to get the operation sorted now so he can prepare for 08/09 - if he has it in the summer he will miss pre season.

Paul T has said on another thread that he wasn't aware of the problem and he assumes it didn't show up in medicals. It might not be as bad as we think.

With one leg he will still be more effective than Conlon!

Probably the more intense , faster pace of the English game although you'd think he'd be fitter running up and down the Andes in his youth!!!:)

Don't think it's fitness. Hence this problem has emerged. I have a lad play for my Sunday team and he has a similar thing (not diagnosed like!). If the ground is hard as it was last week he is knackered and you can guarantee after 20 minutes he is struggling with what appears to be cramp. he is fit enough and has pace to burn and nolittle skill but his legs get him most games. He ran his socks off one game and played the full 90 and no sign of it so it is deceptive hence why Willy thinks he can play on.

But when the ground isn't hard...and he is still getting problems. In fact, when it was wet - Stu purposefully chose not to play him. What was he like on the hard grounds of Chile (the origin of his problem) and what will he be like towards the end of the season on firm pitches? Haha - how will he cope with the surface at Wembley in May? :)

spectators are not allowed on the pitch at Wembley.

That'll be a crock we have purchased and given a lucrative deal to then? You couldn't even make up the levels of incompetence of the folk tasked to do the most basic things involved in the competent admisnistration of a football club could you??
