Reservoir dogs just doesn't do it for me at all. It fits in to the category of hugely dissapointing for me. Probably because people talked it up so much i expected a lot more by the time I saw it.

True Romance, as Yankee says, is absolutely awesome. Some hugely impressive performances from some excellent actors (Walken, Kietel, Hopper et al) and a story line that lifts you up one moment only to smash you against the wall the next.

That said if you don't like films with a bit of violence in, I'd give it a miss.

I know, writing it is close enough for me though. I believe it was QTs first effort on the big screen but could be wrong. I don't think he'd directed anything previously.

Not disagreeing mate..A modern classic in my eyes is True Romance..

So many great performances in the film itself.. With the Walken Hopper scene a masterpiece...

The film every so often gets a mention on here...
