A couple of weeks ago i posted on here suggesting Wethers should be rested and i think the majority suggested i was wrong. fair enough but after yesterday the pattern is there for all to see.

Any team with strong, mobile & quick forwards show up his aging legs and yesterday he was even getting beat in the air which is very unusual.

Granted, Clarke was also poor yesterday and didn't help things.

I'm not saying get rid but just rest him for a couple of games
1) get his energy back
2) Give Moncur a run out to see if he's good enough

I know he has huge respect within the club and football itself but surely he can't be undroppable. Any manager worth his salt can't work on sentiment and must drop him for his and the teams greater good if he is costing the club.

Along with Johnson who always plays no-matter what when available, Wetherall is undropable. A clause in their (highly overpaid) contracts would explain it.
