Anyone else being watching this great documentary on Sky One?

Excellent viewing that shows how brave and young are soldiers are while battling the Taleban.

Shame Its not on terrestrial TV so more people in this Country would appreciate what our boys and girls are going through :(

Good stuff tup:

I've been watching it.. it certainly opens your eyes to what they have to put up with over there.. fighting in trenches, not knowing who is who.. they deserve all the support they can get..

I think it's the last one next week..

just found the link if anyone is interested..

Nah not for me dear. Though our baldie baby is pretty adorable :D :(

I do enjoy this programme though and Ross Kemp is a very brave guy being there with no training and not knowing what to expect. At times you can sense the nervousness in his voice.

As you say P, some of the soldiers are so young and it just makes me wonder whether they truly know what they are letting themselves in for and they are just pawns in someone else's war?? No doubt tonyd will set the record straight. tup:

Been watching it since it started and just watched this weeks episode. The soldiers reaction to the 'blue on blue' incident was interesting. Obviously the media always have liked to sensationalise (sp) stuff or attribute blame. Was good to see the british soldiers not doing that and appreciating the support from the american pilots. I hope the pilots know how they feel.
