Fantasy Football Rules - Updated 21/07/05
Team Selection
Player values range from 1 to 4 credits/points based on last seasons finishing position of the club they play for.
Teams can be selected in the following formations,
G-4-4-2 & Team or G-4-3-3 & Team. (the team part is simply like picking a manager but it won't get sacked).
The value of the entire team must be no more that 30 credits/points and include no more than 2 players from the same team. (This also applys to transfers throughout the season).
If your team falls outside these boundaries you shall be made aware and asked to repick your team.
New players will be added to a separate list before the start of the season and will gain a value based on the team they join.
Any player who moves to another league 1 club will keep the same value they currently hold.
Transfers
3 Transfers are permitted upto Christmas, 2 in January and 2 in March. (1 player going out and one coming in counts as 1 transfer)
You are allow unlimited transfers until the start of the season. (This makes sure your not handicapped by entering a team early and missing out on any new signings)
Scoring
Points will only be scored during League 1 fixtures all cup games aren't counted.
Goalkeepers,
Plays at least 75% of game 1point, Clean Sheet 3points (Must play 75% of game), Conceeding 1 goal 0points, every goal thereafter -1point per goal, Yellow card -1point, Red Card -3points. If a goalie actually scores a goal then give them 7 points (very unlikely though)
Example goalie plays full game but lets in 2 goals = 0 points.
Defenders,
Plays at least 75% of game 1 point, Clean Sheet 3points(Must play 75% of game), Conceeding 1 goal 0points, every goal thereafter -1point per goal, Goal 5points,Scores a hat-trick or better 5 point bonus, Yellow card -1point, Red Card -3points.
Example Defender plays full game, loses 2-1 but scores goal and gets yellow card = 4points.
Midfielders,
Plays at least 75% of game 1 point, Player on pitch whilst team score (easier to work out than an assist) 1point, Goal 5points,Scores a hat-trick or better 5 point bonus, Yellow card -1point, Red Card -3points.
Example Midfielder plays full game, wins 2-1 and gets Yellow card = 2points
Forwards,
Plays at least 75% of game 1 point, Goal 5points, Scores a hat-trick or better 5 point bonus, Yellow card -1point, Red Card -3points.
Example Forward plays full game, score a hat-trick = 21points
Manager/Team,
Manager/Team wins 3points, Manager/Team draws 1 point, Manager/Team lose 0 points.
Entry
Please PM either Ed or Thorney with team selections before 05/08/05.
Multipul entries are allowed but no more than 3.
Please keep team names clean.
