X-Box 360 game purchasing advice please

I've recently bought myself an x-box 360 and wondered what games to buy. i've looked on some websites but always feel the peoples opinions are better than so called reviews.

so far i've bought:

Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare which despite being a really good game, i found a bit easy and a bit short.

Assassins Creed which is good for the first few plays but does get repetitive and is very easy.

and my favourite so far Halo 3, which i'm still loving despite having completed the game on easy and normal.

are there any games like zelda that are going to hold my attention for a good period and that are going to take a while to get through.

any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

yeah played guitar hero at Mattycakes house and loved it, but he's fucking awesome at it so if i buy i'll just feel inadequate.

yeah i think i'll be trading it in. i do prefer the modern weapons and the fact that you're the SAS most of the way through though.

You still play a SAS guy in COD3 with the added bonus of killing Ze Germans.....always a winner and a way of getting payback for WC1970/1990 and Euro 96!!! :(

Dont trade in COD4. Get live, only £5 a month and it will be one the best game you have played in a long while. Single player missions are terrible, I did the first couple of missions and was disappointed but multiplayer makes up for it.

I also recommend Guitar Hero III. Its been used so much since i got it the other week.

Forza 2 is a good game and worthy of its price, only £17.

And Fifa 08 is ok, beats pro evo in my opinion.

Why pay £5 a month for live when you can get a years subscription for £35 on play.com :D
