According to the official website there were more City fans at the game than Stanley. Attendance being 2,898 with 1,478 visitors meaning 1,449 home supporters (though my mate and his lad were sat in the home end so you could add 2 more to the away support). Got me thinking, when we the last time we had more supporters at an away match than there was home fans? My thoughts were Hull away 1996 when we got the home end, Halifax away in the Worthington Cup 98/99 season (2-1 win Beagrie scoring a screamer, from memory i think the attendance was about 5,000). Any others?

I reckon at Bury back in 1999, we had both ends of their ground.
The attendance was 8,000 we took around 5,000 (at a guess)

should be 2,000 or so at Bury on Saturday and they don't get much above 2,500 normally.

We aint playing Bury on Saturday, it's off because they are still in the FA Cup.

Or at least that's what I thought!

Everybody around us was sure that the attendance was given out low as a tax fiddle.

The official capacity of the ground is just over 5,000, and it was virtually full.

Can anyone can tell me where they could have fit more City fans today?

If the ground holds 5k then we must have had 2.5k there as we more or less had one side of the ground...from halfway line to the other halfway line!
