I'd got all excited and then realised I was confusing him with Martin Bullock. I suppose he's here until EJs fit. Anyone know anything about him other than what you can find on Google?

I see thta he's played the majority of his games at York. It looks like someone at Cardiff thught he could do a job and found out he couldn't!!

I've read that hes slow and doesn't get stuck in! Still. I really should see what he does in a City shirt. Bury wanted to sign him apparently - so he must be good!

A bit like most of the City players then eh?

Another spent player we've signed...and what an amazing record he has.....

Well, there you go, send Lee packing back now.
The jury's already being out and decided he's deadwood.
Perhaps Man Utd might have one or two first teamers they'd like to loan to us, that'd appease the knockers.

He is exactly what we need, he played virtually all the games last season for Hartlepool in their promotion season. He is far better than Crooks was, Todd tried to sign Bullock a while back. Someone said he doesn't get stuck in, poppycock, he is no nonsense midfield battler, we won't be outmuscled there anymore, outplayed maybe yes.
Good signing, hoipefully after rejecting Mansfield and Bury he might want to join us permanantly

Sneaked in at the bottom of the Lee Bullock announcement was that Nix has been extended until the end of the season. No surprise, but good to know we are keeping him.

Good news tup:

If Bullock turns out to be the tough tackler we need then we've got two good players today!

Hereford showed us whats needed to get out of this League...big, strong hard players who can score from set-pieces.

We still need a couple of wingers now who can deliver a good cross and maybe another cm with an eye for a killer pass ;)

Reading a bit more it seems that Bury may be very sad to lose him. Hope he can influence our season like he appeared to have done for Bury

Glad Nix got a deal sorted. Looks like our best bet in the AM slot. Especially if he is allowed to get a run of games in that role.

They usually leave and make a success of themselves elsewhere ala Colbeck, Hibbert, Symes ect... ect...

I reckon Bullock could fit the bill, 6 foot and strong in the tackle - been around this league so knows what it's about - good signing - should do well alongside Nix and may give Evans a kick up the backside as well.

Don't be silly, look at my other posts about signing young hungry players who have ambition to get to the top rather than 'earn' their pension.

Maybe so, but fans of clubs he's played for don't really rate him and say he's only in it for the money which he probably is, aren't all these journeymen the same? I'm hardly inspired that Colin Todd wanted to sign him

Lee Bullock rejected a move to Bury because Stuart rang him at the latter end of his loan deal and asked him if he'd consider joining us on loan

I must admit £2,500,000 sounds a massive weekly wage!:D;)

Great!

Maybe he can set a new record of being our captain in all four divisions when he steers us back up the league again to the Premiership jump:

He's done that already hasnt he?

Except the Wetherall CV contains him steering us right the way down the divisions! He even had to step up to Manager in order to get us right down to L2!jawdrop:

saying that he's been great this year, leading by example - a giant among men in the basement division steering us to a highty 16th position in the league - never letting the opposition get on top of us and constantly lifting the troops with words of inspiration and true grit of man on the pitch, not once has he not pushed the team forward - and at the smaller away grounds its hard to hear the fans for Wetherall's Captains banter' - what a guy!!;)

Oh right, its all Wetherall's fault is it?

I can't believe you disliked Turd so much when all we had to do was get rid of Wethers and then we'd be back in the Prem in no-time

Not at all!!

He's not been much help in the decline though!!

On the plus side for every Bantams favourite L33ds fan he has single handedly 'kicked racism out of football' landing him in the FA hall of fame - so he aint all bad!!:)
