Well what do you think?

This is BBB poll just done by me. For what its worth I think Daley is like Colbeck, all pace no football brain, how he keeps JJ out of the Jammy team heaven knows.

I admit he's mighty frustrating!!! He looks at times like he's scaring the opposition to death with his pace but then he'll go missing for a while or look totally dis-interested

For all his faults, i still prefer him to the garbage dumps that were Bobby 'You're privileged to sign me' Petta and Owen 'Lazy Bassa' Morrison.

I would prefer Darren Morgan Mr Treacy and Lenny the city gent over the fooking lot

Funny how it's only you moaning old farts who don't like him.

Ahh well, good player and we should keep him.

Ohh and did I tell you he signed a 2 year contract last week?

Haha gutted for you lot :D

I can't believe I've voted "don't know" what a waste of space that option is!!!!

However on this occcasion it fits the bill. He is the person most likely to turn a game, but more often than not its like carrying a player as his effort (although yesterday was better) is abysmal. Only regular goal scoreres like Steve Bull can get away with such a low work rate and keep their place regularly.

I don't think Daley will show sufficient consistency in terms of effort or skill, so until we can find something better - he has to stay.

Overall one of the most trying players as far as City fans patience is concerned - BUT at this level and with the trasnfer funding we have then he has to stay - pace in abundance and can score goals - infuriatingly inconsistent - But what alternative is there really? - similar in many ways to Colbeck but from what I heard both involved in the City goals build up on Saturday.

Keep him. He shows flashes of brilliance often enough for me, no matter what the Jamaica haters think. Who's better in our team at the moment in that position, with that potential and that pace?

Best player we have at the moment and our only attacking outlet. Makes me blood boil to hear all the shit he gets at VP, iv mentioned it many times on here but why the fuck do the majority of city fans get on the back of our best player when the rest of the team are shit? Windass & Summerbee are the obvious others recently and it seems that Omar is the latest.

We have a terrible squad at the moment but Omar is the best of a bad bunch imo. And along with Clarke & Nix one of the only players id be happy to keep.

Maybe if the idiots started shouting at the players who hide on the pitch we'd improve?

Ricketts
Wetherall
Evans
& Thorne

Are 4 experienced players who L2 should be well within their ability, yet all have struggled and none of them have taken one single game by the scruff of the neck and looked like winners:(

Agree Beer, well not on the Ricketts taking the game by the scruff of the neck because...

Well...

He's a goalkeeper haha.

And he's been saving us game in game out recently with class saves, even Peterburough before and after the mistake he was pulling off class saves.

But yer right about Daley, I don't get why people vent there anger on him, he'd get better if we wernt so shouty shouty at him.:flame:

Best player we got

Remember we are a league 2 side not premiership

You would hate him to be playing against us running at Heckers'

Ricketts
Wetherall
Evans
& Thorne

They're the four who get the most jip though.

Omar is generally bummed despite the fact that 9 times out of 10 fecks up. Fair enough that other 1 time he will produce something but the fact he does it so inconsistantly pisses me off. I don't think anyone's doubting his ability.

I can't see why Thorne get's shouted at either given that we hardly ever give him the ball to his feet where he can use it... Omar ironically being one of the main culprits.

He's goddam awful! Probably the most overrated player of all time! (probably not but y'know...)

final ball is so so so poor, i think wednesday was one of his first assists this season, he really adds nothing....yer he's quick and can beat about 7 men but seen as his final ball is utter dirge theres no point having him, waste of a wage....colbecks about a million times better cos he is a far more rounded player with crossing and shooting capabilities.

oh, and beer Thorne is our best player by a country mile anyone can see that.... though agree that Evo is also utterly useless

If he could cross or finish with more consistancy, he'd be playing for a higher division club. He's about the right standard player for our current level unfortunately!
