Thought we were great for the first 20 minutes then started getting overrun in Midfield. Lincoln desrevedly equalised and only a quality strike from Big Baz:D:D:D won us the game.

Ricketts 6.5 steady
Williams 7.5 continues to improve
Hecky 7 best game for a while
Wethers 7 battled well
Clarke 7 side is more solid with him
Daley 6.5 frustrating as usual, quality or shocking
Colbeck 6 see above
Evans 3 worst game ever for City
Nix 7 worked hard and tried to make things happen
Thorne 6.5 great goal and worked hard
'G' 4 non existent

Rhodes 4 doesn't contribute enough
Phelan 5 gets stuck in
Conlon 6 got the goal he needed

At last I can join in the ratings game:

Ricketts 7 solid, kicking was fine

Williams 7.5 he impressed me defensively and going forward, the right hand side was the danger side today

Hecky 6 solid but not much going forward, shoulda played Lukey

Wethers 6.5 not bad, not brilliant, good headed clearances

Clarke 8 Impressive, commanding, quick, clever

Daley 6.5 Some good runs but some shocking decisions, some absolute howlers late on but made up for it in the last minute

Colbeck 7 As with Daley made some awful decisions and some horrendous shots ending up in the city center but he seemed more intelligent in his movement than Daley and had a hand in both goals

Evans 3.5 Poo(r)

Nix 7.5 Ran his little cotton socks off, needs to get more games in that role instead of being shifted around

Thorne 5.5 I really was not impressed by this guy, he should be the one up front dictating the play of his wingers and strike partner but he seems anonymous, and what about that first half sitter he missed?

Guylain 1 Send him back and give Medley a chance, he played for 5 minuted the whole match, the rest of the time he looked like he was having a stroll in the park. No ball control, no movement, no commitment, no contract please. Haven't seen a more pathetic performance since......... erm..........

Subs:

Rhodes 4 he can run a bit but that was all he did, worth a contract? On that performance give Taylforth a chance and bye bye Alex

Phelan 5 did fine in his short time, looks a bit gay though the way he runs but did battle well

Conlon 6.5 He showed the other 2 strikers how to WANT to win. Well done Baz for a lucky goal as the effort deserved it

To think some on here questioned my sanity when I said Dumbo was a 1st class lazy bassa tdwn:

I dont doubt his ability but whats the point if you seldom use it? :(

He had a 5 minute spell wherre he did 2 good things. For the rest of the time he was an absolute disgrace and no wonder Macca has dropped him recently. He can p!$$ off back to Gills if that's what he is always like... 6 goals he may have but perhaps a less talented striker who enjoys football might still have had far more because they can play for 90 minutes instead of 4 or 5 mins.

Thats about my sumary of him. I'd have happily kept him on up until today, but he was soooo lazy. Playing up front with a 34 year old you need him to do the chasing and dropping back in to midfield. I can only assume he's either been told he's going back or already signed his contract:eek:

I'd like to see more of him from past games to see if he is always like that. I can only judge on one match so maybe I am being harsh. But if he was playing for a contrct today then that's not the way to do things. Nix showed the way to do it and Rhodes also tried his best with what limited form/talent/fitness he had today.
