Don't think there is anything wrong with a bit of gentle banter (ie telling him to wash his hair etc), but the vitriolic stuff and chanting about him (or anyone for that matter) being a paedophile is well out of order, but I doubt you'll stop the kids singing it, whatever the ocassion.

Why?
I'll pay tribute to the Bradford and Lincoln fans that died.
However I won't be pissing up Jacksons back, he burnt his bridges long ago

Can't agree JY, i'm not a fan of his but he was a good captain and player for us and still shows up at the memorial service every year. I think he deserves a bit of respect for that at least.

He was one of our greatest ever defenders and a brilliant captain - as JS said he turns up every year to the memorial service!
He would jump at the chance to manage City, one of the reasons IMO he's made a few bitter comments - that he was never given a chance here!
If you were to ask him who "his club" were i bet you any money he wouldn't hesitate in saying us!
The dickheads who slag him - are just that - dickheads!!

yes he was quite good, Unfortunately second time around he was very average
"he turns up every year to the memorial service!"
So does the Lord Major
"He would jump at the chance to manage City, one of the reasons IMO he's made a few bitter comments - that he was never given a chance here!"
He was offered the job at VP, back in 2001, don't remember him jumping.

Don't ! Save your money
"The dickheads who slag him - are just that - dickheads!!"
I agree, no need to be abusive, its Jacko's perogative to be bitter.
He was up to his old tricks anyway yesterday... Nix got stamped on then when Evans had something to say about it he was complaining at Stu to keep his players in check!
He is a tosspot. If I'm a dickhead for having this opinion I apologise in advance to KB.

So it says in a book, but nothing is said on what terms - he'll always be remembered by me as being a great captain in his first spell - youngest ever at one time when Mulhall gave him the armband at the age of 19.
So his second spell was less of a success - and because he exclaimed how great a club Dudders were whilst managing them - does this warrant all the abuse he gets from some of the less eloquent City supporters?
I agree he needs to get rid of the greasy mop though.

bollocks ...... Jacko turned round to us and said his man should have been sent off after the incident.....
So why was he titting about having a go at the fourth official??? Don't tell me, trying to get his own man sent off yeah?
As you say, bollocks.

Read "Four Minutes To Hell" and then tell me Jackson is a twat.
Utmost respecdt for him, some silly things he may have said but he without sin cast the first stone, eh? Just have a look at what he did that night after the game.
For the record he'd probably say Town are his team but I reckon he holds as many memories of his time with us and he will never forget 1985.

McCall said yesterday on the radio that deep down Jacko's true club is City and that he would tell you that himself if asked.
He's got a job to do at Lincoln City nuff said - pity some around VP can't grasp that fact.
I accept he's got a job to do at Lincoln but I would dislike anyone who weasels around trying to create issues with the officials that aren't there, so he's no different. I'm just not a fan of how he conducts himself as a manager. It's similar to the Windass situation, I wasn't a Deano fan either, although I know he was a decent player for us.
I'm not gonna stop Jackson doing what he does on my own anyway and I aren't the kind to shout obscenities at him for 90 minutes so I can't see the problem with my quiet dislike of him.
I accept he was a good player for us, but I never saw him play for us so that's nowt to with me. I also accept he is active in showing his grief for the fire victims which is thoughtful but again that's nothing to do with why I dislike him.

Thats fair enough and acceptable. To those of us who were present in 85 and do remember him as a very good player for us, i think there is a respect there for him although some of his comments when he was Town manager did grate a little, i think he was doing it for effect and defending his team

Jackos a winner and if he thinks that having little digs at city or players is going to give his team an advantage he's going to use it. As any manager would. Honestly ive given him his fair share of stick in the past but id quite happily give him my support if he was ever to come back. As id hope most fans would.

Jacko has said that Hudders are his team. That's fair do's, he's managed them twice since he left VP the second time. Jacko was the sensible choice to replace Colin Todd and also the best choice if a quick exit the "correct" way from Division 4 (Old Money) was to be a reality. However, given a choice of Stu or Jacko in the dugout, might as well have someone who's team is City trying to Polish a Turd I suppose.
