Home at last (had a very brief detour into Maastricht on the way home) from my day out in Liege/Montegnee with Mark Ellis, Paul Topping and Dawn ????? (business associate of Mega).

Can't say too much except had a great great day. Wonderful people and a most enjoyable time was had. We visited Montegnee's proper stadium (most impressive, kicks the arse off most league 2 grounds and even probably most of the league 1 grounds). Unfortunately I forgot the digital camera at home so either Paul Topping will have to take a few snaps or I'll have to get him to take me again next time.

We also visited the Standard Liege training grounds (most impressive) which next door has 2 indoor "fussball" buildings where Montegnee will have teams playing next year.

Obviously a lot was discussed today and a little of it will feature in my next official report for City on Montegnee and a little will be saved for my third report (which will come after new year after I've been to the boxing day match at VP).

I will say that I am even more excited than I was before, not only for the Billy Topp type deal we have going on, but more so actually about the whole setup they have going on. Something that I really feel could and should be copied in some form by City itself but also by most league clubs. I just hope I can get down on paper how important this scheme can be.

One last thing for today... "Blue Monday", Mega finds your signature most amusing and I'm sure so will Topps when he sees it :D

Anyway, great day out, great lads and great laugh... and Chuckles.... get your arse over here and see it for yourself and see if you can be Mr Negative then.

Interesting stuff Dutch, it looks like a well run set up over there, keep the info coming as we get nothing from VP itself

I don't know about that. Part 1 got on the official site and someone linked to our interviews with Paul Topping on the OMB (ie Official Message Board).

Its good if the fans can see it --

I meant the OMB wont have any official news

And if they do it will be much less than this from you, Z and Dutch

Still JP must have got in front with his baking after having Saturday off :D
