I have a photo that is 108kb and I want to make it into a canvas picture so need to enlarge it to at least 600kb. How do I do it? Thanks.

Who is telling you the file size should be 600kb ?

The file size is dependent on two things, the size of the sensor in your camera, in MPixels (or the resolution of the scanner if it was scanned from a negative) and the file type. Some file types, e.g. GIF and JPEG, compress the image and it makes the file size smaller.

It sounds like the person creating the picture wants the 600kb file size as that would represent an image that has enough clarity to be printed at a large size. If the file size is small it probably means that the file does not contain enough detail and your resulting picture would be grainy and not look so good. Once you have a image I don't think it is possible to increase the clarity.

Might be best to discuss it with the people doing the printing.
