Now when Caddy was subsituted he can't make his late game-winning goal. Result isn't so important for me, but the win can be pleasent.

Thats it then a 2-1 win, it will be quite interesting to see how we played, already the plus points are MBW scoring again and the keeper saving a penalty. All we need now is Windass and Cooke scoring and we are on to a winner this season.

Sounds like Windass hit the bar/post a couple of times today..
yet another goal from a midfielder which is good.

Dmitry i like any wins :D
I know the results dont count for anything, but it must help the players with morale. I just hope they can take it into the new season.
Does any one know the attendance from todays match?

For us Muirhead was a busy bee, Kearney was neat and tidy in midfield, and Petta looks very promising indeed. It's the first time I've seen him close up, and I was lucky enough to be sat in the stand with him playing directly infront of me. There were times when I was left scratching my head trying to work out out he went past people, running with the ball, from a standing position, it didn't matter, one minute he was stood face to face with the defender, the next he was past and on his way, no effort, no fuss, no exaggerated dropping of the shoulder, nothing noticeable whatsoever, quality.
Good stuff.

Very poor from city today DC and Windass can not play together. We play all our football in our own half that is because we never win the final ball in and it keeps coming back sign a targetman now.

well give it a bit longer, and the team will pick itself...the difference was highly visible when he changed things at half time, cooke played well, as did bridge, and swifty.
it wasn't the best or most worked for victory, but nevertheless was a victory over the highest opposition yet...and 100% in the pre-season friendlies...
but it's still only match practice guys...not to be taken as a sign of things to come...put them in front of a DECENT crowd, and they might be very different players.
but yes, we do need a target man.
1400 odd ?? it looked like there were that many in our stand alone..and like there were more city fans, than town ones.
