I was deep in the heart of the North Stand on Friday and listening to the HOME fans gave us a different perspective on the city side......

They wished every team had a no 7 like ours - cuts open your defence and does nothing with the end ball.

G - good footballer - but was always forcing "himself " out wide

Rhodes just needed a shove and he went flying - although our most dangerous winger a little shoulder charge and over he went.

Who was that blad guy - five attacks and no involvment in any of them ?

Eddie Johnson - the one who their programme painted as a real threat was not on the pitch - phew - was he?????

When thompson came on for them they new he was going to rip us to pieces - they let them tire out the defence then bring him on for 30 mins to rip em to pieces. - Morcombe fans knew he would score against us - simply by the fact that Ships in Morcombe bay trun fatsr than our defenders....

BUT apart from those comments - they where really scared of us.

I would also like to say that although the turn out from the city fans was great - we had an atmosphere about us which seemed to be as quite as a library - expectation of another defeat maybe????

G,always drifts out to the touchline and that leaves Thorne,Conlon just flicking balls on to know one,or holding the ball up and know one to pass it to.

Look at any half decent strike partnership and you never see them 10 yards apart, fucking G is 30 and sometimes 40 yds away from his partner.

FFS,if City fans and even worse,Morecambe fans can see this, then why cant our manager?
