If we are struggling in the middle of the park, and at the back, could Ainge be worth a try in front of the back 4? Just wondering if anyone thinks he can fill that role?

He is a decentish player (looked good at Oldham away) but i feel we are really scraping the bottom of the barrell aren't we? It is so bloody desperate, i cannot believe that this nightmare won't end.

Did you go to Rotherham away last year though? He was shocking! Ainge is another youth player who is simply not upto scratch, if it wasn't for Clarke getting injured again he wouldn't be getting a look in.

The whole team was shocking, although i have dreadged up the memory of that particular horror show and yes you are right that ainge was shocking!
I know Lawn has looked at changing the set up but the youth team is just another reflection of the unique way the club has been run. How long has it been since we had a decent youngster stay in the first team?
OB? although we nabbed him off York.

To be fair I don't think it helped having Jon Swift along side him in that game. Every other game I've seen him play in he's looked the business. At least he's mobile which is more than can be said of either of the current CB pairing!

Ainge is absolute quality....he's possibly the best out of youngsters IMO
Of course he has had a few slips here and there as you expect with yougsters...but any more than any of the senior players...nah
you can tell that he's a cut above, he is composure personified, has great passing ability, pace & Good heading and tackling... i rekon he's future captain material
Definately not a bad idea dutch....however i'd play bentham there first!
