Looks like the same thing as last season. Loan players perhaps a smidgen better than what we have got but very hot and cold and lacking the desire to play for the team.
Could Lukey do any worse than Hecky?
Nix/Bentham in for Law?
Medley/Topp in for Dumbo?
Saynor in for Evans worth a shout till we land this Polish keeper who's on trial?
Hopkins in for Harban?
Osbourne/Sheridan in for Joynes'reserve spot?
If we can't get any loans in of a class above League 2/1 level then why bother with the dross? Save the squad spots and wages for some permanent signings who will give their all every match. And give our own boys the chance in the first team where they might be able to improve.
We'll also know more for the January sales/buys.
Bit dissapointed in McCall's Todd like reliance on loans when pre-season he claimed we'd not be wasting our time on loans.

But McCall's hand has been forced by the board giving him scraps to work with.
I am sick of loans and ultiamtely having a 1/4 or a 1/3 of the team made of these players who have little or no comitment when the going gets tough then what do we expect.
But Julian likes this policy so we only have one man to thank.

He doesn't have any other choice, replacing the loanee's with the players you're suggesting is suicide. It's bad enough watching the current lot without making it even worse. I don't want to watch city get thrashed week in week out and with teh team you're suggesting we will be.
You don't have to put up with it, we do!

With the number of loan players we've had at BCFC over the past couple of seasons it sometimes feels as though you aren't really watching a Bradford City side. We are a cross between a 'nursery club' and a 'shop window' outfit. It's shit and i bloody hate it.

Dutch, i admire your loyalty towards our youngsters but players like Sheridan and Osbourne don't even play regularly for the reserves.
This season is O'Brien and Hopkins first regular run in the reserve side and whilst i wouldn't worry about the odd sub appearance or game if injuries come along they are nowhere near as good as what we've got on loan.
I think the Joynes one is a waste of time but him apart its not the loanees letting us down its players like Daley, Johnson Wethers, Bower & Ricketts

Macca needs to start getting the players to play to their strengths
Foe example -- Arfur cant hit a barn door but has pace and can beat defenders -- so have him head for the by line, as near to the 6 yard line as possible then roll the ball back for a tap in

Erm guys... why is this suicide? Hecky has been wank so why not give Lukey a chance now he's getting back to speed for the reserves. He has been a regular reserve for over 2 seasons now so hardly a novice.
Hopkins as backup to Williams... he must be worth a shot as he's playes all Welsh youth levels.
Osbourne has played as many first team games as Joynes so what's the problem giving him and Sheridan the reserve team place?
With Topp getting fit, what's wrong with giving him and Medley the spot of Dumbo? OK Dumbo is class when he feels like like it but Medley might be just as good at this level considering the physical nature of the game and the shiteness of the service given to the front line.
As for Nicky Law JR... he's only been here 2 games and not pulling up any trees... why not go with a bit of squad consistency instead and have the battling Law / Bentham or even Phelan instead. They'll have more chance of "gelling" with the team which again at this level might be enough of an edge.

I know you haven't seen him play but he couldn't pass water after 10 pints when he gets in the box!
He's the original "loose cannon" tdwn:

How about we bring Summerbee back. Then we can sellotape him to Daleys back. When Daley gets into a decent position they can switch and Summerbee can cross the ball in. Is that legal, lets have a look in the rule books.
