A Challenge.....


Use this thread to post your excuses for Good Ol Junior, Mr City Through and through, we wouldn't have a club etc etc to justify why he deserves our backing and respect to remain at the helm of Bradford City football club. There is nobody else, isn't a valid excuse, I'm just after justification for the blind faith backing he gets whilst our football club plumbs new depths week in week out. So if you think he's fucking shite, but give your backing because there is supposedly nobody else, that's not giving your backing and putting faith in the job he's doing is it??

You know my stance I have no excuses for him, he only has my contempt for the pigs breakfast he has made of running this football club and his decisions are solely responsible for our disastarous league position. He is a liar and a hermit when things are going bad but when there is something good such as Macca's unveiling (all been in vain),138 quid season tickets despite it being courtesy of the input of others, or to play an "hilarious" April Fools Joke he'll happily have his mugshot plastered over the local press or on SKY TV. The day he leaves this football club, will be the day things look up and we can have optimism again.

I've said why I think he should go , on numerous occasions. Now, using the facts at hand relating to the job he has done since July 2004, when he gained full control of a club with a "clean slate" and promised to make us one of the "top 10 football teams in the country", state why I should get off my soap box and back the sackless twat.

I don't want to hear how City through and through he is, I don't want to hear how our luck will change and I don't want to be told to keep the faith, I don't want to hear about past so called heroics that have no relevence in October 2007. I want to know why I get the amount of derision I get on here for continuing to state a valid reason why this football club is in the fucking shit, at the arse end of division 4 on the back of a five goal losing streak that has included defeats by the likes of Accrington, Hereford and Morecambe!

Please God send someone who can take us forward ...oh what a bloody mess our beloved City are in thank you Rhodes and Lawn. And im not just jumping on the band wagon Lawn is a gob shite(wheres the promised transfer budget ?)..And Rhodes Well his record speaks for itself. Stuart show some back bone and kick some ass or piss off.
I know it is a negative view but bloody hell what a mess.
Maybe i will feel a little better after a few more drinks!!.

Here's an idea Chuckle.
I know this hatred of Rhodes is deep within you (for whatever dark reasons). However have you ever thought of starting a little business and putting same effort and energy into it that you put into this pointless vilification of Rhodes. That way you would soon become a rich man in your own right and could buy out Rhodes and your little world would be a happier place.

Just a thought :(

Easy to gob off when it isn't your money and you do not have to make those decisions isnt it..

Why not spend the time on this thread to explain who is going to take us on and where the cash is coming from etc etc etc..

Once again mate same shit different day...If we had won 5 in a row you would wait until we lost one or two to have another pop ...Pretty boring to be honest...

If you have nothing more to say except the boring Rhodes out sketch then just do not say anything.. Im sure the more we lose no matter what you write in reply to this raises a smile so you can spout more of the same...

We can say well there is no one else to take his place....

You only have well if he loved the club he would give it away for a quid or some other shite...If he did then i would bracket him as bad a business man as you think he is now..

IF Lawn and Rhodes are such big 'fans' they should be going all out to get Adam Pearson down to the club. Someone who has the proven commercial experience to run a club properly.

Tony your positive outlook on the club although admirable in a sense is completely blind. You are investing your faith in a man who is turning our club into a joke. Do you not see it week after week?

To reiterate Chuckle I would love to see why you are so confident in a man who has done what since 'saving' our club?? What have you seen from him that gives you such great faith in him or it that as much as you think Chuckle is intrenched in his view you equally seem stubborn in your own viewpoint failing to see this club falling away.

Do you not feel this season is one to far with regard to broken promises, under investment in personel and broken promises??

The way I see it is that Bradford City was near death, Julian Rhodes put us on a Life Support Machine, now we're slowly dying painfully. It would have been kinder to let us go quickly, it's inhumane what is happening to us now.

We need someone with business nous, not some rich cos of daddy or some gobshite with a bit of cash. Someone who knows how to run a business and is prepared to put their money where their mouth is.....or is it too late??? tdwn:

It is far too easy to have a pop at what seems to be the only bloke in the world who actually wants to keep City alive..

Far easier that actually explaining where this messiah is going to come from..

If Rhodes packed up and fooked off then im sure then when the club folded it would become even easier to have a pop...

I am not blinded by his limited business sense but on the other hand i am not blinded by the fact that there is no one else out there who is willing to come and take the steering wheel off him...

So for those of you who are always on his back for continuing to struggle on just remember we are only still a club because he can be arsed to struggle on..

Get your pens and paper out and petition Pearson, Shepherd and the like to come and take us on...Don't come on here bleating week after week that the only bloke who is doing anything is a shit businessman who should fook off..

Prove to me he is turning better options away Proof mind you not some paper article from outer mongolia that you or Dave happened upon that actually is on about fish or something!!!!

But Rhodes has never had the resouces to run this club in a professional manner. He has effectively financed the club through share options and previous dividened payments.

so in order for him to keep the club alive (on his terms ie with no money) he has sold off and signed away any assets the club owned, a pratice that has continued post 2004 admin and the clean financial slate.

Hence we are now a pretty poor investment proposition for any serious and professional person like Pearson. What do we own? Nowt.

And Tony are you not forgetting another businessman who got involved and shafted with his purchase of the ground?

so all in Tony we are not only a joke prospect on the pitch but also a worthless, empty husk of a club off it.

And i would honestly like to see you list the great things you hero has done for the club in the last 3 years. Please.

Now as i keep saying you can bleat on about how bad you believe his chairmanship to be all you want and sadly you and Dave do.. But with no viable option out there the only other option is him leaving and us going under..

So the answer to your question is he has kept us just breathing nothing more... But that is a million times more than anyone else has done isn't it..

Oh sorry you do,naming other ex chairmen who have no interest in the club as potential new owners...Well that should sort us out shouldn't it...

As I keep saying.I have no personal hatred of Rhodes, just total contempt for the way he has turned this football club to the biggest laughing stock in football.

Rather than having a pop, why not rise to the challenge set out at the beginning of this thread and list some good reasons why I shouldn't have the aforementiomned contempt for the job he's done here....
