Dissapointed - simple as that.

Really the game could of gone either way but they wanted it more than us:confused:

Great support from the Bantam army - shame so many of the team stayed at home in the second half.

To let Morcambe pass the ball and play around us so easily is a new low - we made them look like a quality team.

Team Ratings..

Evans - did ok, not a world beater and not a million miles better than Ricketts. 5
Williams - poor, slow and turned too easily. 5
Bower - kopped a lot from the crowd but was our best CB, he then did a job at LB 6
Wetherall. I wont rant but i mentioned in the week about him not pushing out - second half proved my point . 5
Hecks. Id love to see the player return who we had a couple of years ago. 5
Rhodes - again not the player who faced Maccs. Poor final ball & distribution. 5
Law - never saw him except for the useless free kick towards the end . 4
Johnson- Ran around a lot with no product. 4
Daley- Got everthing bar the final ball, poor descisions in great areas on another night would have scored 3. 7
Dumbo. poor 5
Conlon. Pass of the game should have seen Daley score, improving 7 mom

Subs.
Ainge. Did well, head went down late on - if McCall wants rid of him he's a fool - he'd start at the back for me against Darlo. 7
Nix - lively again in a short time and deserved of Johnsons or Rhodes' position next time out.

Tonights not the end of the world and i still think we can turn this season around. McCall better have had the hair dryer out after the game and seriously look at his 'regulars'.

Come on City!jump:

Nix should be starting every game as things stand - busy little player and battler

Derm Tanner sounded gutted as did Hendrie, the result was no surprise for me sat at home - but it still fekin hurts bad - we look on the way out of the league after 104 years.

Nah its not that bad.

Luck played a part tonight and we had our chance to win it!

It will turn!

We had Medley on the bench who was raring to go, he even had the fans chanting his name at HT - he may not be a world beater but his attitude is right - and he's a big get, bound to cause opposition problems!

Absolutely gutted.

We had 3 really good chances in the second half to win the game, Daley through on goal and sliced his shot (after a superb Conlon pass), a Conlon shot from inside the area that was saved and the rebound didn't fall, and the ball falling to Nix after a scramble in the area the keeper on the floor and instead of puuting his foot through it he virtually passed it to the keeper.

Conlon MOTM by a mile for me, ran his socks off, and made some superb passes. Evans had nothing to do apart form the goals which says it all really.

I just can't believe it happened again, and the fact of the matter is, it doesn't look like it's going to change.

Agreed NB. Shame others in the team were not on his waivelength

Dave was awful, and the chances we had just before they scoredjawdrop: I know bower gave the ball away for there goal but the crap pass by dave prior to that lead the there goal in my eyes. He had the look of a man who didnt give a f*** at times.:poo:

If Medley is one of the possible answers, why is he being farmed out elsewhere?

Most likely the same reason why Eddie Johnson starts every game:confused::confused:

The lad scored a wonder goal and then seems banished - very much in the Todderism mould.
