If anyone is going and looking for accommodation when they get there, beware.

I have just been phoning guest houses on the prom. and the only place I can get in is one of the larger hotels. They just had a couple of rooms left at the back, so no sea view for Mrs Bilious :)

Norwegian Majesty, going from Charleston SC to Bermuda (where the photo is taken) for three nights, then back to Charleston. The younger Miss Bilious is the ship's hairdresser. We have not seen her since June so cannot wait.

After trying to be organised and book somewhere in advance the fecking hotel had lost our booking when we got there :(

I suppose that was just a warm up for a disappointing game, mid field allowing its self to be bossed around, good pace but no finishing product, GG especially off form.

Morecambe is a strange place. I'd forgotten how amazing the was setting is, looking over the bay (when the mist lifts, so you can see it). Lots of money being spent on the prom, but a lot of the buildings on the prom are closed and look to be in a serious state of decay. Even the funfair has closed with nothing replacing it, the only new development seems to be building an Aldi on the seafront :(

I went to Morecombe a couple of years ago with the EX. Thought I'd died! Shithole.

Heard this morning, from someone with investments in Morecambe, that the fun fair closed because Blackpool Pleasure Beach bought it to close it, to cut down on the competition. They have apparently also just done the same thing with Southport fun fair.

It's a bit beyond just competition when it puts another nail in the coffin of the whole town.

They did close pleasureland last year but it is now re opened in southport.

PBB also stole a ride from pleasureland. But they did all this to cut down competition.
