having had no internet for over a fortnight I have relied upon the thorough and enlightening reports on teletext for my contact with city. so why are we doing so crap?? can the fans explain to me what is going wrong? is it a lack of passion, surely not with stu in charge??? it must be we are just not good enough player for player???? or is it just certain players, ie defence making mistakes or strikers not being able to hit a barn door? is VP turning back into that fearful ground for the home team?? i'd appreciate the truth from the fans as i've only seen the barnet game and ok we were terrible in the first half there, but i have been quite alarmed by this sudden slump to four straight defeats. ta.

We have had a crap goalie this season who seemed to give away a goal a game. We have a back 4 who are trying to beat that return, then we have a midfield misfiring so bad that the useless back 4 kick it long to strikers who are not particular tall or good in the air.
Other than that its going cracking.:p

:) I think that should be mailed to the manager as constructive criticism, in case he has missed any obvious points.

We lack a solid spine in our team,
Ricketts
Wethers/Bowser
Johnson
Any forward other than Dumbo
Teams come right through us too easily!
Replacements for all of the above & we'll crack it!
That aside we have probably created more chances this season than we did all last year and the year before put together, therefore its not all doom and gloom and once our luck turns and the attempts are converted we will be the proud owners of a team which win high scoring games.tup:

Prezactly!
Stuart is attacked minded and has entertainment in his mind but he needs to vary it and use central midfield sometimes...
EJ is not :poo:... he's out of the picture because of the tactics.. defensive midfielder he is not.

I know what you mean. I have seen some absolute 'J.Arthur Rank' at City in my 23 years of going to VP, but at least we'd never been in the bottom tier. Now i absolutely dread going to work after a City game, last Wednesday a prime example, you would never believe how strong the 'Newcastle United-Accrington Stanley' alliance was, because i took so much stick it was ridiculous. I daren't even sound enthusiatic to my Geordie colleagues about playing Morecambe away cos i daren't, for the fact when we have lost 2-0 and i come in on Monday i will be taunted to the point of insanity.
How i wish we were playing the black and white b*stards in the Premiership and turning them over. There is only so long somebody will listen to you talking about the 1911 cup final.

A mixture. Quite a few of the lads in the offices have s/t and we have 2 company season tickets for the posh seats which are raffled off for every home game. I've only ever won these once and gave them to my in-laws as City versus Doncaster a couple of years ago was far more appealing. Many of the lads on the shift patterns don't have s/t, but that's really due to the shift patterns as they work every other weekend, but even so, they are fairly passionate. They don't have a clue who Jimmy Speirs is, they just think i'm some kind of headbanger when i mention him. Tossers!

the players don't seem to look intrested and seem to get too down hearted after taking stick from the crowd (well ricketts does)
