Are proud to anounce that they are they Main Match Sponsors forthe game against Wrexham. This has been done through members cash and notClub funds...............
All thoughs posters who are lining up to slate us < Chuckle, dont bother )....we are doing it to raise the profile of the ordinary suporter, Our selves.Shelf Bantams. The Irish Club(IDL.)
We will be on the pitch .with our banner....we are now recognised by the Club, something that is important as it is the FANS who at the end of the day will be there when everyone else has f.ucked off, slate us if you like .............

I don t care..........WE are 100% fans and proud of it....Up the Shippers

Top marks Sunwinman and the Shippers and if the baffooon that is chuckle wants to slate you and your love for the club, then he will prove beyond reasonable doubt, that he is a first class cunt.

How can anyone slate a fan or fans, who love the club and want to help and promote it,in anyway they can think of?

I have travelled with the shippers on 3 occaissions and it has been a great day out with the pre match drink and meal.I was made to feel very welcome and would recommend anyone wanting to go by coach,to go with the shippers, the same can be said about the shelf bantams and the IDL.

Would Never Happened in My Day :D

top marks Sunwinman. But even though, you provoked reaction by mentioning my name I won't spoil your glory by asking why The Shippers are the match sponsors for this game and bid you an enjoyable day.

My invite for the Prawn Sandwiches seems to have been lost in the post though.

Chuck was around at the beginning of the Shippers and is still a City fan, despite his long running protest about the way certian indviduals have been running the place at VP.

Thank you Mark and despite maybe not agreeing about certain directions the Shippers has taken, it still has my unfounded support and affection, hence my disappoiontment at Stu's pop at me.

Dave, I was getting in first because I know how much you hate the powers that be inside VP, expected to get slaughtered for having the audacity to give them our money and eat their food when it is the last thing you would do.
Whilst the original aim of the Shippers was a travel Club, we were PRAISED Yesterday by the speaker for what we had done, Matt was named as being the creater of the Shippers.....plus a brief history.................and credit to us in that we had taken a coach to EVERY AWAY GAME from day one, something the Club could not do, during Admin.......The Clubs words of praise.............
The day was funded by the members and not Club funds ,and although some of the things we do you may not approve of, we intend to make SHIPLEY Bantams recognised by the Club as an important organisation,,, and we will do it as we see fit, we are not selling out, Some of the new folk down at City are nice people ....and if we can get along together then all the better,
The shippers has moved on and will hopefully get stronger....but our aims will be the same..to stay independant........................Stu

Steady, you are getting as political as a certain other fans organisation! ;)

Believe in what you do, do it for the right reason and realise that you will never make everyone happy. tup:

Are you proper simple or is it just an act? Serious question

I was going to ask the same question Chuckle.

He is either on drugs or off his fucking rocker.

I have refrained from replying to some of the absolute garbage he posts, but this deserves a post, how the hell can he come up with the assumption, that it was a pop at him?

I have been astounded by some of his posts and the absolute lunacy of them,on here and the omb.I remember one where he was saying city were going to get fined and he knew it to be true, because he was in the press conference,at Valley Parade after the match. It was posted on the omb and im not sure, but i think it was something to do with fans going on the pitch after the last home game of the season.

And how many idiots fell for it? Quite a few:rolleyes:

I'm not off my rocker at all and not on drugs either. Dave made it quite clear on the Morecambe Walk thread that in his day I would have had nothnig to do with organising stuff for the shippers.

Yes that was in his day, things have changed. I've been asked to help which I am more than happy to do

Politics aside - The Shippers still provides a good day out for supporters wanting summat different than the official travel or going by train/pain.

Looking at the fixtures it seems MK Dongers will be the first away trip for Wisey and junior this season - followed by Grimsby. We aim to beat the appalling total of 3 away games made last season and the one before - down to finance and todderism lol
