Just following on from other threads, it's quite possible that for a few of the away games we will have to have some kind of allocation system for the tickets.

We are a big club in this league, and if we start doing well it's not impossible that we will take an away following numbering in the thousands to some of the more local matches. Considering that many of the grounds are on the small side compared to the higher leagues, it's not at all impossible that some people will not be able to get tickets.

I hope the club are considering this and working on ways to give a fair allocation out. From other posts it seems they are recording which members buy away tickets, and I would suggest that if you are in the habit of doing so you ensure that the ticket office staff make a note on your record that you have bought an away ticket.

It's a bit pointless saying that we will give priority to season ticket holders considering the numbers sold thus far. To me, it's either first come first served or a points system based on previous away matches attended this season.

first come first served - I feel selfish today.

i read somewhere official that if you keep hold of away ticket stubs that'll help. Can't remember where but a fairly sure that's the official stance

me and my mates were talking about this the other day and we couldn't think of anywhere that would actually be a problem - does anyone know of any grounds that we might actually sell out? the only one we could come up with was accrington coz of the small allocation and it being new years day.

tbh, I really cant see too many problems. If you REALLY want a ticket there are numerous ways to get one. Although Im not sure the priority for people who have attended previous away games is the way to go. I usually visit at least 75%of away games but due to shift work I will miss a lot this year but it would still massively dissapoint me if I missed out on a ticket to someone who only 'came back' because of the feelgood factor
