Why are these tickets going to be handed to 250 "random" season ticket holders who will more than likely bin them?!

Why not see who wants to go and give them to them?? i.e me?! tdwn:

I must admit i was wondering myself, being one of the people who is going down to the game! If it's the part timers who get the freebies i'll definately spit my dummy out!

250 free tickets, so in theory there is a 1 in 48 chance of getting one, that means someone on this board is likely to get one as there should be at least 48 season ticket holders on here. They really should cut out children season tickets too, after all they were free and they are more likely not to be used as a 10 year old just can't jump on the train to Barnet on their own, knowing city though all 250 will end up with children.

There's 10 of us City fans staying over in Camden for a mates stag do straight after the match. It would be rather nice if we could have some freebies to offset the cost of the hotel and beers.

I will be on holiday for that game but if i win, i may give it for free to someone special or sell it :D

I fear this is a nice idea but one which is too 'random' to work. People who haven't been for years have season tickets, people who are l**ds fans have season tickets!! The ticket office have on their system i believe records of who has been to the last 2 away games (if the ticket was bought in advance), it is likely therefore that if anyone is going to go it would be those people. So, basically, give me my ticket!!! :chatter:

If i get one I'll donate to some one on here as I pick and chose my away games and Barnet has no drawing power for me.

That is utter bollox!

I bought plenty tickets for the Shrews game (in advance)and the only reason the ticket office staff new i bought them is because i know them personally! Everyone elses i bought for - only i know!

Anyway so what if 250 random people get tickets - its more feelgood for the fans and a little something extra back from the club & the sponsors!! ffs people moan for the sake of moaning!tdwn:

I said 'i believe'. The reason i beleive this is because when i bought 2 Wolves tickets i had to hand in a voucher from each season ticket book. And when i bought 2 Shrews tickets i was asked for membership numbers, hence my belief that the club are keeping a record of who is buying tickets.

It's many years since I managed nearly every game home and away - these days I'm stuck at half a dozen or so aways - not out of choice, more necessity - still I live in hope that my lottery numbers come up so i can travel by stretch limo to all away games accompanied by selected guests lol

Now, me being a novice on the 'ahem' ticketing system... I will try explain, assuming it still works like this;

Each membership number has a purchase history ! Now this automatically shows home and season tickets purchased - and official club coach travel are under membership numbers as well...

Away tickets will only be under your membership history if the tickets have been sold under it, or you have asked for it to go on under it - btw you would be surprised how many people do ask for it to go under their membership numbers !

I am the same as Beer because Parrot and I went down for some for last weeks game but they were not bought under membership numbers.

I have an idea how it will be sorted and, if I get one, I will probably go to the game tup:

so what does this mean for me then? i have bought my rail tickets to go to barnet so am i not going to be able to stand with the city fans? don't get me wrong, s/t holders should be rewarded for their loyalty but i would be extremely pissed off if i have wasted my cash on train fare and can't go? i'm not the only person who lives quite a fair distance away and it just so happens london games are actually the easiest to get to. i'll try phoning the ticket office if anyone ever answers.

i assumed chasser and euro etc might be off, maybe they are s/t holders, if not what are they doing?

Fucking moan, moan and better fucking moan ffs.The club are giving 250 free tickets out and what do you want the club to do?

1.Give fifty to people who live outside Bradford.
2.Give fifty to people who deserve them for whatever fucking stupid bastard reason some fucking numpty can come up with.
3.Give fifty to 25 year season ticket holders.
4.Give fifty to disabled supporters.
5.Give fifty to the fans who give the most valid reason for getting them.

There are hundreds of reasons people should be given the tickets, but the easy way is to run a raffle of sorts.

You set of windging stupid fucking cunts, get a fucking life for fucks sake, this club cant do right, for doing wrong.

WHY DONT YOU JUST SHUT THE FUCK UP FOR A CHANGE?

There are times to moan, but this isnt one of them.tup:

It seems they have sorted it now and done a first come first served job which is spot on as them that have no intention of going won't turn up on Tuesday morning! tup:

Having booked my train tickets already I'm going whatever but it will be nice to have "free" entry and a free "£15" drinks voucher!! tup:

In reality if you weren't planning on going anyway free entry aint gonna swing it for you is it really when you think of the cost involved and the time away from home!?

Anyone know of any decent boozers that I won't get tw@tted in?!

They have changed the way they are to be allocated.

http://www.bradfordcityfc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/News/0,,10266~1097500,00.html

It kind of makes sense as those without jobs can queue up and get a free ticket whilst the rest of us work and pay for ours.

I've recently moved jobs and work about 15miles away from Valley Parade so I won't be getting one.

Dont worry Skye mate, you can buy visitors tickets on the day (£15 ffs! this is the fourth division). Having said that, if anyone can be arsed to go to the ticket office on the 28th but isn't going to the game, I would be very grateful if they could post me a free one!
