Probably because those who live in greenhouses (twice) shouldn't throw stones!!
As much as i dislike L**ds the only reason the vote went against em - is because they're L**ds, had it been anyone else they'd have got away with it!!

Not one of the personnel at L**ds now was around then - or at City - i think its a bit petty bringing that up - they weren't the only ones who issued a winding up order back then!!
If we'd have voted against em we'd have been the biggest fookin hypocrites on the planet!!

Re the vote thing - our accountants been in this week a top bloke, he's a life long L**ds fan, he aint no thug, he likes a beer with his mates and to take his kids - just like any of us lot, its folk like that (they do have a few decent fans) who suffer in all this - whilst i don't particularly give a shit about how the club suffers in general - put yourself in the ordinary fans position......we know what its like! The fall from grace for them is much heavier than the one we suffered too!!!

How does the saying go...keep your friends close and your enemies closer. We've been there and were very lucky with the timing....before all this points deduction business came in. Maybe that little gesture will serve us well in the future, you never know! And what does it matter anyway, they still lost the appeal!! Maybe whoever made the decision on our behalf knew that jawdrop:

Maybe JR and ML were thinking about next year when we play them at VP in L1 in front of 20k at full price tickets. tup: Kerfookingching.

Totally agree with KB no point throwing stones when you live in a rickety old glass house yersen (ironic how we are now sponsored by Coral Windows, maybe they'll install some safety glass!). The decision had to be made in a professional manner not just because we hate them and certainly not because of past run-ins. McCall has his right to dislike Leeds after the Odsal incident but that wouldn't stop him being professional with their manager if we played them in the tin-pot trophy. I applaud the balls to vote like this by whichever of our co-owners did it. It shows that they understand that we were lucky not to have been treated the same and that actually 15 points is not warranted as up til now it had always been a 10 point deduction. the League whether you like it or not made Leeds a special case for their own reasons (probably something to do with the lying cheating shyster in charge at Elland Rd, but never will they suggest that in public).
They'll still go down. tup:

They let us use Elland road after the City fire, however I still hope they get relegated and relegated and relegated ...
PS Carty, why have you got a picture of me on your avatar?

and im pretty sure darren morgan once set a goal up .....argument settled :D
People saying we were in the same position as they were so we showed some kind of solidarity are wrong.
We were in admin twice, we came up with an acceptable CVA twice to enable us to be allowed back into the league, Leeds didn't - and shouldn't have been allowed back in not even with -15 points, not with anything.
Do you think the FL would have let us back in if we hadn't come up with a CVA? I doubt it. By not having a CVA Leeds could end up not paying off any of the debt, and have already paid a cash fee for a new signing - that isn't fair on the 40 odd other clubs who have had to go through the process and be left financially crippled for a while as a result. I'm disappointed City backed them.

You are correct about the CVA but our second Admin and the reasons Junior went down that route, was as crooked as anything that has gone on in football regards to using the sytem to the club's advantage. That is why we musn't throw stones. Having said that. There was no point deduction for being dodgy then and there is now, so Leeds point deduction is a fair punishment. IMHO the manner in which they were so Brazen when going about getting the original 10 points docked was worthy of further punishment and they should take their punishment on the chin and get on with trying to get the points back on the pitch.
