I have had to download firefox to view the site as internet explorer cannot connect why is this????

I use firefox now after Ed mentioned it a while ago.. but at work its IE.. it wont update to a newer version and I do have problems with it sometimes.

Having said that I did have probs here at home last night, around the same time as jimbo did. !!

Every night around 10.20pm i can access the site,but when i click a thread to read it wont let me.It also happens around 9.00am in the morning.On each ocaission it lasts around 45 minutes before i can get back on.

I have had problems for months with IE -- it is very slow -- I use more than 1 PC but they are all the same, hence I use Firefox to view the site

It keeps going down more often than Panter on an away trip with the Shippers tdwn: :D

This has just happened to me, but rather than your 10:20PM it did it at 10:20AM

Been OK for me - I run Vista and internet explorer 7 on my desktop at work and laptop at home and i've had absolutely no problems!!

Me neither have to say wether at home or work in IE6 or 7 makes no difference!

that's what happens a lot on my PC - it's a fairly old PC like, flintstones era, but when i log in and then click on a thread it shows the dialogue on the taskbar as if it#'s loading the thread but just freezes. generally i have to quit the internet and go back in, then invariably it still doesn't work until eventually if i leave it it works again. i hope that was explained very technically and professional in PC speak :D
