22 years, yet it sometimes feels as though it was only yesterday. Will never forget travelling back to Lidget Green from VP in the back of my dads car with me, my dad and brother in absolute shock and floods of tears.
Can't be there today, living away from 'home', but i'll be quietly paying my own respects this afternoon.

Although I'm at work and cannot pay my respects at the remembrance today, I always wear my city shirt on this day in memory of those who lost their lives!
R.I.P the 56, you'll never be forgotten!

RIP the 56, and sincere sympathy to the families, not forgetting those that were injured.
It's strange that sometimes I can't remember stuff that happened a couple of months ago, but 11 May 1985, I could tell you what I did from getting up in the morning, to eventually getting to bed in the early hours of the following morning.
Will be shedding a tear later today, and will visit the ground this evening.

My boss has just finished my appraisal early so I can get down to Centenary Square for 11 o'clock.
My thoughts and prayers are with the families of those who are sadly no longer with us.

I was 12 that day and stood on the kop. I was in complete shock and upset about the fire ruining our day as champions. When I got home I realised that peope had actually been killed. We were stopping at my grans as between homes. Its funy how you remember these things. This day I wil never forget how people who went to watch a football match lost their lives.
They were city till they died and I will be as well.
RIP.
