Rumour has it from my reliable HP sauce bottle, that there will be a massive price cut for the game next saturday and it might be a fiver or even better a freebie.

The club know they need a massive vocal support to lift the players and scare the shit out of the cheating officials and opposition players. The club have come to the conclusion, that relegation would cost a lot more than the gate money they would lose for one game,so watch the OMB for an announcement early in next week.

even the BaldBantam has been made to look a fool by yesterdays result - he said we were all mad for saying City can and will stay up.

Well although I have great respect for Jimmy's predictions, and some are correctjump: I would have thought it common sense for the club to lower the ticket price to increase the gate on such an important match.

What matters most is that we do get a big crowd in so we can make loads of noise and generate a proper VP atmosphere. Jimmy is absolutely correct about the officials, proven research that home crowds (intimidation and noise) affect their decisions in favour of the home team. Research was in the Sunday Times, a couple of weeks ago, can't be bothered looking it up now....

now all we have to hope for is that the team turn up with no fear and a positive attitude to playing this game. Warnock, although I don't particularly like him, he managed to get the 'fear factor' out of their game yesterday so they could perform to their best. Wetherall get on the phone and ask him how to do that.......

With the importance of Saturdays game against Orient fans shouldnt need 'tempting' through the turnstyles with a reduced price offer - and i dont think they need to be, added to that i dont think the offer will be made! 10k will turn up whether or not its on the cheap:rolleyes:

So the club are leaving it up to the fans --
Who I'm sure will turn out in force and earn the club some extra cash --
Another dud bottle of "Jimmys Sauce" ;) -- there are so many cries of "Wolf" around VP these days -- its a wonder the RSPCA arnt out trying to round them up :) -- but rumors are what fans thrive on -- Next! :chatter:
