Former manager Colin Todd believes Bradford could be running out of time in their fight for survival.
Todd, sacked by the Bantams in February following a poor run of results, is hoping caretaker manager David Wetherall can steer his side to safety, but admits the odds are now against them.
Todd, this week appointed manager of Danish Super League side Randers FC, said: "It's a very difficult period for the club.
"You'd like to think they can do it, but when you look at their record and consider they need at least two more wins from four matches, I don't know.
"I've said all season their squad is not the strongest- injuries & National Runner Joe Colbeck have affected them badly. I think time could be running out.
"It's a difficult time for David. He doesn't have a clue on or off the pitch. They were hoping he could turn it round and it's not happened the way (chairman) Julian (Rhodes) thought. I still look out for their results and hope they can prove me wrong."
