Nottingham Forest manager Colin Calderwood has just two fit strikers available for the clash with Brentford at Griffin Park.
With Nathan Tyson ruled out for the season after doctors confirmed knee ligament damage, Grant Holt and Jack Lester are the only senior forwards at Calderwood's disposal.
Tyson has joined thigh injury victim Scott Dobie on the Reds' casualty list, while fellow forward Junior Agogo has been laid low by a groin problem.
A broken ankle has ruled Sammy Clingan out of the action too.
Promotion-chasing Forest, lying third in League One, head to London aiming to draw a line under their three-game winless sequence.
City Ground boss Colin Calderwood said: "If we don't win games we will not do it - it's as simple as that."
Relegated Brentford could be without leading scorer Jo Kuffour.
Kuffour sustained a double fracture to his hand during the 3-1 defeat at Crewe on Easter Monday - the result which condemned the Bees to League Two football next season - and is very doubtful for the visit of Colin Calderwood's men.
Kuffour's fellow forward Neil Shipperley could also miss the Griffin Park clash with a strained calf muscle.
On-loan defender Garry Richards has returned to Colchester for treatment on a pelvic injury, while striker Scott Taylor has also gone back to his parent club MK Dons after completing his loan spell with the Bees.
Following the departure of boss Scott Fitzgerald earlier in the week, head of youth development Barry Quin is in charge of the first team until the end of the campaign - although he is not a candidate for the full-time post at this stage

Dont believe Weir's loan arrangement has a re-call clause.
