Andy Ritchie has agreed to become the new Huddersfield manager, according to the Yorkshire Post.
He has managerial experience with Oldham and Barnsley but was sacked as boss at Oakwell in November six months after he guided them to promotion. Ritchie takes over from Gerry Murphy who has been in temporary charge since Peter Jackson's dismissal in March. Charlton coach Phil Parkinson was set to be unveiled last week, but he had an 11th-hour change of mind.

Andy Ritchie has been named as the new manager of Coca-Cola League One side Huddersfield.
Ritchie, who was sacked by Barnsley last November, takes over from Peter Jackson who was dismissed in March after a poor run of results.
The former Manchester United and Oldham striker takes charge with the Terriers currently 16th in the division, eight points clear of the relegation zone with four games remaining.
Former Hull boss Phil Parkinson was expected to take charge at the Galpharm Stadium last week but had an 11th-hour change of heart.
