How many more times can the 'Deadline' be extended? It is nice to see that the sponsors are digging deep but does this mean that we are just fighting off the inevitable. Where is the cash going to come from in the summer if the target of 10,000 is not reached?

It could make so much difference for the club if there's 15,000 in the ground next seasonroflmao:
It was already extended till the end of the season wasn't it?

It'll still come from season ticket purchases.
If you read it at face value the sponsors are paying early cos normally the club would be getting early bird purchases and cash would be coming in in a drip fashion.
I can understand your concern but I personally think JR is extending the campaign cos he thinks he can get 10,000 - if he could release the news people want to hear he would and part of the extension will be in the hope that he can get some news out during the campaign about a coup on the manager front.
Off on a tangent don't these 3 look a bit gay in this photo!

JR looks a bit like Ann from Little Britain.
"So, Julian, how's the campaign going?"
"Eh, eh, eeeeeeeeeehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!"

The man is obviously mad and fortunately the sponsors appear to be ever so slightly gullible. It was obvious the Joker was going to have to get his cash from somewhere else other than season tickets.
10000 pledges in this day and age might just equate to 4,500 or 5,000 people actually getting their cash out. If he thinks that 10000 are going to pay up then he needs to double the target.
Whats the big deal about £138 season tickets anyway? Thats exactly what I paid this season and its about £100 more than it was worth.

Besides I'm hardly going to post a shitty comment under my own well known name now am I?.....oh it could of course been reverse psychology on my part but I'm not that clever and I'm not that interested....thats why I read the piece for the first time after Wrosebantams comment and not the day it came out.tup:
