We all have our thoughts on where Todd has gone wrong, but how will Wethers see it with his limited squad?
I'v thought for ages that Wethers himself was due a rest - and we will see on saturday if he agree's.....

My team for Saturday would be.....

GK - The Don

RB - Swift
CB - Bowser (captain)
CB - Clarke
LB - Parker

RM - Daley
CM - Bentham
CM - BMW
LM - Colbeck

CF - Dyer
CF - Paynter

Subs

Howarth
Wetherall
Schumacher
Logan
Hibbert

We will see what he does come saturday though - as long as we win i dont give a shittup:

How do you reckon he will field the team??

He'll play Schumacher instead of Bentham, but apart from that i agree except that he might stick with Edgehill and try get an extra 20% out of him. He'll drop himself cos come Saturday morning he'll be mentally drained with all the extra stress.

Only two slight changes for me Beer... I have never seen Swift play so i will leave him there>..

Omar and Colbeck swapped over as Daley hasd played on the left before Joe i think would struggle...

I would also have Bentham and Schuey in the middle and may even be tempted to give Shuey the armband .....

But that's me...

I don't think the team will be too much different to that. I also think Wethers will be in the dugout rather than on the pitch Saturday but he might put himself down as a substitute.

Good call with the Daley/Joco switchtup:

Also if i had Schuey in my team he would get the armband!
I do believe Schuey and BMW dont play well together in the middle though, and in the many games this season in which Bentham/Schuey have played together in the middle we have failled to create.
I really would like to see BMW with a true defensive type alongside him!!

Logan has returned to Darlo so what about Penford on the bench?

Personally I don't care who's in charge or what the team is. All I'm interested in is the reaction of the players in the first 10/15/20 minutes. If they're upbeat and start 'fizzing' the ball about like they did early season I'll finally know CT wasn't right for the job. If it's the same old same old, or God forbid, worse than normal, I'll know CT wasn't to blame and then start consulting my AA route planner in preparation for next seasons trips to Chester, Stockport, Rochdale and Mansfield.

Thats a good shout L2 - but you must get with the times and buy a tom tom mate.

Got one for the missus to get us to juniors sunday morning games with City when I'm too battered to drive.

Even though I know how to get there I used it to get to Tranmere the week after we'd played there just to see what the craic was. It works, but telling you to 'bear right' at every junction on the motorway got right on my t**s. I'll no doubt use it around foreign towns, but until I leave the motorway I'll stick to my route planner and maps.

My prediction for Saturday:

GK - Ricketts

RB - Swift
CB - Bowser
CB - Ainge
LB - O'Brien

RM - Colbeck
CM - Bentham
CM - Schumi (captain)
LM - Daley

CF - EJ
CF - Paynter

Subs

Howarth
Parker
Dyer
Penford
Clarke

Wethers clearing the decks of the Todd mentality and injecting a bit of passion, youth, flair and hoping a win with our home grown will win the doubters over and get the feel good factor back.

You can turn the sound off you know. I wouldn't be without one.

Wethers said he is thinking of not starting the game and has made Bower the new captain.
