Stuart has been offered the managers job at VP,but he wants to see out this season with Sheff Utd before taking over the helm at Bradford City.Things might change quickly because City need a manager now and Stuart will have to come to a decision quickly one way or the other.

This is what i postest yesterday so not really!
Some people may have seen me as a Todd "inner" on here before, but I never loved todd or anything I just thought that seen as tho we cant sack him we need to get behind him. That was when we were giving up on the playoffs n that. But now the situation has become critical, we are heading towards the relegation zone with the 5th worst form over the past 8 games in the division & of the 4 below us in only 1 is in the relegation zone so we are in real trouble. I for one would love Todd to go now if only to unite the fans but it isnt going to happen, what we need to do now tho is get completly and utterly behind the team in the 14 games that remain, even if you dont like the players that are playing or the position they are playing in we have to do something to help these players keep us up this season. If we go to everygame shouting todd out all game and getting the players heads down and losing we arnt helping anyone. I agree we need todd out but its unlikely to happen between now and the end of the season, so lets do everything we can to help get these underperforming players to keep us up and then at the end of the season the todd out campaign can get well underway bcos obviously we cannot carry on like this. We have to stay up this season I just hope all the supporters of this club can help to contribute towards that.

Least you saw the light in the endtup: ...some of the so-called more "intelligent" on here:rolleyes: still defend his managerial capabilities to this day, or are they just too stubborn to admit the Turd was sh/t?

Why not employ Wethers till the end of the season, then Say Stuart McCall WILL BE manager when the season ends, that will pour pledges in and we'll have something to look forward too. And it's cool for him aswell.
What you think?

I always thought that Todd would see us right until the last few weeks anyway. I still think he is a decent manager but quite obviously he wasn't the right man for the job right now. Whether he would have done any better with a better squad or a better financial situation we'll never know. We can't even say that he woud definitely have taken us down this season. All you can say is that he is didn't do the job expected of him and he's paid the price.

Stuart McCall will not be the next permanent manager of this football club. There is not a prayer. Lets pour cold water on this right now so the gullible don't end up disappointed eh?

Tatt, he's desperate for the job everytime it comes up, but he never takes it because the job is fucked. I wouldn't want him to take it and sully his reputation here because he's pissing in a shitwind of Rhodes making.
His time is when we have someone capable running the show.

Tatt,exactly right mate.
Just for your information Chuckle,SM was approached by JR and was asked about taking over at City months ago.SM said he wanted to finish the season out at Sheff Utd and agreed to take over the managers job at City at the end of the season.JR thought Todd would be in charge until then, but things have changed due to City looking like relegation candidates under Todd,so JR had to react.SM has been given time to think about taking the job now,as City need a replacement and he knows he will have to make his mind up quickly, because JR wants someone in within 2 weeks.

Remember folks file that with the Rhodes will never ever ever sack Todd rant of yesteryear...
Remember too if you doubt him he will rip you and then even though he is proven wrong he will bring out another pearler just to keep his head above water...

Is that a stone clad "will not" and "end of" like when you said Rhodes "would not" ever sack Todd "end of"? ;)

No, because the sacking of Todd was only unlikely, the appointment of Stu will be comes under the catagory of impossible. What is he going to have to work with? What is Junior going to pay him witrh? He's an assistant manager of a Premiership Club with an offer on the table to stay there and no doubt offers of the equivelent of the West Brom and Rangers coaching role he's been sounded out about this season.
Put yoursen in Stu's shoes Matty, he's a legend here and will remain so as long as he doesn't fuck it up. Why would he come here and accept a job that is a guaranteed fuck up for anyone.
A change of manager was not what was needed to halt the slide mate and this will now become evident now Todd has gone.

Maybe because he loves the club and wants to save it from being relegated?
Maybe because he doesnt want to be a coach and would prefer to be a manager?
Maybe because he would rather start his managerial career off where he knows he has the full backing of the fans and it will mean everything to him to be the manager of this club?
Maybe because its the club that gave him his route into football and he would like to again repay his thanks to the club and supporters who have helped him down the years.
Sometimes its not all about money and glamour, sometimes you go with your heart and not your head, and im sure everyone would agree Stuart is that sort of person!

Maybe Paul Ince has inspired him ...
Both class midfielders in their day with one learning his trade and ready to go solo and the other jumping in at the bottom and getting his hands dirty proving what a motivator can do when given a shot.
Macca although i doubt will come here could see the potential this club has and the impact someone like him or Ince could have in turning things around and brining back a bit of pride to the club...

And if he did come here then there would be more than 10,000 pledging to buy a ST. What a welcome that would be, the Ciyt would be abuzz with expectation and enthusiasm, it would be good to be a Bantam again!

That is why it would be nice for wethers ot do well till the end of the season with the news that Macca was signing pre season....
That would sell the tickets...... Wethers installed as his no 2...
Nice thought but very unlikely still for me...

Why oh why do people think he wont take the job if he does want it just say he gets another job and makes an arse of it the club will not make him manager would they.Surely the time is right NOW it looks like the Blades are going to be safe. If he does get a job in the summer what club is going to be ideal for him face it wherever he ends up it's going to be somewhere lower regions of the football league with little money
THE TIME IS NOW FOR THE GINGER ONE
