With the Wethers radio interview and whats coming from the official site i would think JR is banking on Wethers being a success and wants to install him for good, however if we dont pick up some points from our next two games that will all change !!

Since McCall seems to have stated that he wants to see out his contract at Sheff. Utd. till the end of the season, I wouldn't be surprised if Wetherall did get the caretaker's job till then, thereby paving the way for Stuart to take over when the time suits him and giving him the whole summer to put pretty much his own squad together. I think the only two catches would be: i) would Rhodes persist with Wethers if it was obvious that he wasn't going to keep us up, and ii) would Stuart be willing to take over with the finances being so tight?

You can say what you want about how bad the finances are but if Stuart took over im pretty confident the budget would be a bit higher than it is now!

Wetherall will be in charge until Sheffield United are SAFE from relegation, Warnock wont tolerate any backroom upheaval till the Blades are mathematically certain from the drop!.........So it looks like Wethers will be in charge till the season ends barring Sheff Utd winning their next 3/4 Premier league games!:eek:
