View Full Version : How much of Todds sacking was due to
The failure of the 10,000 pledge?
Figures being quoted for the pledge were only around the 3,000 mark, way off the target.
It wouldn't suprise me if it was more to do with the fact this pledge was dying on it's arse than the results. JR finally had to bite the bullet and sack him rather than doing everything but, even effectively giving tickets away wasn't working so he went to the last resort.

To be fair Rick, it hasn't failed yet, but it will do. The only way it can possibly work going on the "Todd Sacked Because of The Lack Of Pledges" logic is if they appoint a name capable of inspiring folk to pledge. How an earth can Bradford City and Julian Rhodes manage that?
I know Chuckle, I'm waiting for Carlton Palmer to be unvailed before the crowd on Saturday.

Only way it now will go over 10,000 is if by some miracle McCall or Beags are appointed! beags wants the job, he touts himself every week on soccer night!

Would be nice to have Beags as the manager; but then we're onto the whole legends into management shite and it'd all end in tears malarky

Beags would be a disaster as manager and McCall won't come to a club in such a sorry state and beyond those two, I'd be struggling to see how any appointment would inspire 10,000 people to buy a Season Ticket at a Rhodes led Bradford City.
Put it this way, even I would buy one if McCall got the job and if Rhodes could inspire me to contribute towards his fuck up, he could convince anybody.
