After Bradford City sacked boss Colin Todd speculation about his future replacement has already started - with ex Sky blues boss Micky Adams the name touted as a potential successor.

Julian Rhodes has scheduled to meet the remaining hierarchy to discuss their disastrous season, according to reports.

Adams has earlier in his career won a massive reputation as a wheeler-dealer in the transfer market, guiding Leicester into second place in the Second Division despite the Foxes going into administration. This seems to be the main reason Adams seems to be the perfect choice for the cash strapped Bantams.

With Todd sacked, Bradford will have to pay compensation, which would cut any cash earmarked for wages for any signings for the new season.

It is thought Adams is already at City, as Rhodes tries to sort out this situation sooner rather than later in an attempt to halt their slide to League Two.

Other names mentioned are Iain Dowie, Peter Reid, Stuart McCall, Touche Turtle and Pac Man.tup:

The names that are coming out at the moment, are rather impressive, however isnt this ALWAYS the case and we always go for the duller character(Jim Jefferies, Nicky Law, Colin Turd etc)

I think Micky Adams would do a good job. He had a stinker at Coventry but usually has been rather successful.

Micky Adams for me. Think he has what it takes to get the most out of what we have, have respect from the players and in turn get the best out of them.

Either him or Jamie. After all, he has a magic torch

Paul Ince would be nice lol...

Wethers till end of season then Incey in.....Favours from Wolves and Manure would ensure we got the right loans in for next term...

He would even get a game in our midfield loljump:

Sport Billy may spread himself too thinly with him being a jack of all trades and a master of none.

Least Jamie can shed some light on Bradford's current concerns

oh no..Not Micky Adams. Useless manager..utter pr1ck! He brought Leicester City over here to play a pre season friendly. When asked what he thought of Estonia..he said 'its great - you don't see any black bastards over here'. Nice - especially considering he had Dion Dublin and Trevor Benjamin in his team. That sort of attitude would go down very well in Bradford!

Dowie would be great - but we couldnt afford his wages I guess. So Reid is probably my favourite. The way things are going at Wigan..it'd be nice to see Jagger back at VP!

But in reality Sport Billy when the chips are down can always be relied upon to "pull it out of the bag"jump:

An asset like that shouldnt be thrown into the no pile so lightly... Added to that Jamies love of his shaggy dog may interfere with his love for City and that cannot be allowed IMHO...tup:

In the light of this new point you have brought to the table involving Jamie's "love" for his dog, I can concur with your notion and would favour Sport Billy.

I can hear it on the terraces now......... "There's only one Sport Billy"..........

I wouldnt want the git anyway - but if Wenger leaves the gunners id try and have him at city - maybe we could afford him for an hours consultancy.

Thank Fuck!! He'll probably be in the frame to Replace Sinbad at Farsley when he comes to VP in June though.

Come off it Matty, when has a realistic grasp of the situation ever been an issue with the majority of City fans when predicting new signings, managers and league position. There'll be literally thousands all dreaming of Macca as next manager over their teas tonight and actually believing it.

Im not as blinded by McCall as most from here, yet Why would he be a fool? After all far better/bigger named players have failled in management!
