I want to know where the money has come from to sack him unless they have done as you say and agreed to carry on paying til end of his contract. If that was the case I'd expect it to be said so we all know that there is no concerns over money.

Money is still a big issue here - however I'm sure Junior is well aware that the Season Ticket offer was floundering before it took off - may have a chance at getting the 10,000 now - HOWEVER......do we really want it as city fans?????

Just a few points

A) I'm not disappointed in the slightest. He was a make do manager. Thing is, he'll be replaced with a make do manager so I can't see things improving a jot. I'm surprised because,100% guaranteed, Todd was NOT on a Rolling contract. He'll have to be paid up. That'll be more funds swapped around that could have been proven valuable elsewhere.

B) Don't get excited with regards to any replacement. Who with a reputation would touch this job with a pole. The Advert in real terms reads;

Failed elsewhere or inexperienced manager required to risk their reputation and be thrown in at the deep end for a relegation scrap with a team half full of other peoples players. Salary Buttons. Reporting directly to a Chairman who'll bottle every major decision and weild the axe only after he has shipped out your best players. Week to week Contract only, because of the uncertainty that probably won't see the Club last beyond June this Year before it sinks without trace.

They'll be beating a path to VP eh?

C) The league position won't improve, this or next season. There is nothing for any manager to work with. Less now than Todd had in fact. I'm confident and hopeful that even with the new man in charge, the lack of an improvement of the Club's fortunes will turn the few stragglers in their Rhodes Tinted Specs and make them realise where the real problem lies. Things can only possibly look up after that clown has walked away.

D) I honestly think the dismissal of Todd was inevitable. But doing it now, shows the measure of our so called Chairman. There have been grumblings for ages about Todd's style of play, but the Coward in The Boardroom swings the axe only after he has overseen the asset stripping of the players capable enough of avoiding the relegation scrap he has created. What a Cunt!

E) If you want to know who I'd replace him with, I'll throw this name in the hat before the too ambitious calls for McCall and the fucking ridiculous calls like Beagrie start (although I'm probably too late). Andy Ritchie; Local, out of work and swimming at the better end of the shitpool.

Wether it was the right decision or not hinges on who Todd's successor is and how he fares. However, I do not think that there are the resources to bring in anybody from outside VP. So those dreaming of Stu might as well get a fucking grip right now.

But I will give you the fact that this has come to take the heat away from Junior at a time when his stock is at an all time low with City fans and he has dried up of ways to pull the wool over our eyes.

If He was so disenchanted with Todd's contribution, maybe the time was before the team was weakened at Junior's behest?

I will guarantee that beyond Wethers he has no idea who or the resources to appoint a successor. If Wethers cannot do the job, Junior will be backed into a corner he cannot get out of.
