I am concerned that he has gone. If he has been paid out his contract where has the money come from? Also this is a big risk considering we are staring a relegation fight in the face and Wethers has no experience in the management game. I reckon he will do well given time but to be set the task of rallying an already demoralised team to scrap for their lives is a tall order.

Still this might be the PR stunt needed to get the 10,000 pledge off the ground!

Bantams part company with Colin Todd


Colin Todd
Bradford City have today confirmed that they have parted company with Manager Colin Todd after over three years with the Bantams.
The club would thank Colin for his efforts during what has been a turbulent period in its history.
Colin has had to deal with some very difficult situations but has always met these challenges in a professional manner.
Unfortunately the results over the last 20 League games have been poor and so it is time for a change. We wish Colin well in the future.
Captain David Wetherall will take charge of first team matters with immediate effect on a caretaker basis whilst the club begins the process of searching for a new Manager.
