Well at this moment in time the team on the pitch seem to be doing their best to mirror the freefall of the financial side of the club:( ....No doubt about it, the clubs rotten to the core, which is why i think relegation is a real possibility if no action is taken before the seasons end!tdwn:

Were the team who come from nowhere to be relegated unexpectably, a team with no passion, direction or leadership on or off the pitch, were just like that Ice hockey team in "Slapshot"... rich owner whose daddy gave her the club but doesn't care what happens to the team... a team which is full of journeymen cast off players & loanee youngsters who can't prove themselves at their own clubs... disgruntled supporters who have had all their loyalty & passion for THEIR club knocked out of them, treated with contempt by the boardroom & management team alike:mad: ....Unfortunately unlike "Slapshot", we dont have the Hanson twins to inject some much needed fighting spirit into the club:rolleyes:

This club STINKS from top to bottom:(...Thats why i think we DONT have the stomach for a relegation scrap!tdwn: ....I first watched City in the old Fourth division, I've been to Wembley & seen them grace the top flight, it seems next season the circle will be complete & we'll be back in the basement, where it first started for me all them years ago! ....Im depressed & im getting drunk to numb the pain!!!

Can't argue with any of that my feathered friend.

Oh to have a Chairman with the balls to push the club onwards and to make the difficult decisions and have faith in them having made them. Oooops I forgot, That kind of Chairman is not liked round these parts is he?

Im sure that the same fcukwits will blame GR when the plugs pulled or we end up strutting our stuff in the basement division....again:(

They will no doubt thank JR & the Rhodes though for the sterling job they did after big bad GR left the club headtap:

if we dont pick up at least 4 points from the nxt 2 home games we are destined for relegation, simple as.

Agree with both of you just hope that there is someone out there going to step in when the sh#t hits the fan because if people think it's not then they are in cloud cuckoo land

Somethings gotta give sooner rather than later....JR seems to have run out of funds for the club judging by the sale of DW/JJ...Im sure the sh/t will hit the fan the minute after we've kicked our last ball of the season against Millwall:(

I just hope theres someone who will step into the breach or we are indeed fcuked!tdwn:

See you at BPA?

That he which hath no stomach to this fight,
Let him depart; his passport shall be made
And crowns for convoy put into his purse:
We would not die in that man's company
That fears his fellowship to die with us.

This is City. We've been through better, we've been through worse.

Whatever happens, happens.

Name me a worse spell in history we've been worse off than this football wise? 1983 and GR's (exagerrated) 36m quid debt were walks in the park compared to this. At least then there were personalities on the scene who knew what they were doing.

Never known it so bad the things pointed out above were sorted Rhodes seems to be bouncing from 1 disaster to the other

I'm not thinking of GR's administration, but I am thinking of 1983, and the period just before GR took over when we were effectively bankrupt, and the last administration, and of long periods of bottom division football, and I'm thinking of the fire, besides which all this pales in to insignificance.

Administration will not be the end. There are interested parties out there who can't get involved at the moment because Rhodes is in the chair and unwilling to vacate it for a realistic price. An administration will clear that obstacle and give chance for a new regime to start again.

Well if it was that simple would a boycott of VP push things to an head

You sure about that?....Im almost certain there's some FA/Football league rule that doesn't permit 3 administrations?...Might be wrong, but im sure we'd be booted out of the league in the event of admin.3?

As I understand it, the Club can go through an unlimited number of administrations, but the same people can only be involved in 2 of them.

If we enter administration for a third time with Rhodes as a director in all three of them then we can carry on, but only if he is no longer involved after the administration.

The restriction is on the individuals involved, not the Club itself. It's all tied in with the 'fit and proper persons' policy.

I could be wrong, but that's as I recall it.

So there's absolutely no chance that JR will be at the club next season then? tup:

Aside from the fire (Which is why I actually mentioned football related crisis in my answer to you) there is nothing what you mention as serious as the condition that Rhodes has driven this club to, ever. I would have thought a businessman like yourself would be more savvy in realising that a third Admin will finish off the club. The Ten Points penalty for starters will tarnish any appeal for new owners. The already strained relationship with local businesses would be stretched beyond breaking point and the only players we'd attract from the shitpool are the ones in water wings struggling to get to grips with the fucking Doggy Paddle.

If like you say (and I hope you are right) there are people willing to give it a go, then Rhodes should seek them out, hand it over and walk away in a reputaion saving gesture. Somebody in his position would see this as the only possibility if they were as City Through and Through as they've always led us to believe.

There will always be someone willing to give it a go, no matter what situation they inherit, provided that the debts have been wiped clean or are not insurmountable.

I agree it would be better for that to happen now rather than in an administration situation, but in either event someone would step forward.

Gibb always remains a possibility if he could have sole control, but there are others out there if that did not transpire.

How many of our chairmen had you heard of before they became involved?

I know one interested party who on his own would make a go of the club, but he is trying to get a consortium of buisness men involved who made a bid for a Championship club.

However Rhodes as fucked him off once before,so i wouldnt hold your breath.
