The Priestfield pitch was under two inches of snow on Thursday and with sub-zero temperatures expected again at night, the club are cautious about the prospects of the match going ahead
A spokesman said at midday: "There's been a lot of snow in the past 12 hours, although it's stopped now, and we've got to see what happens from here on in. But the forecast is to go as low as minus three which could cause a problem with the ground freezing over. It will be down to the referee to make the decision but at the moment we think it's probably 50-50. But we're at the mercy of Mother Nature for the next day or so."
The team will stay with their travel plans and will head to their base outside Maidstone on Friday just after noon and will be on hand should there be any need for a pitch inspection on Saturday.

I hope to be there. I read a weather forecast for Saturday of 7 to 8º. Should be OK, although a bit wet.
