Good result -- great fighting performance -- and good loan signings from CT tup:

Agreed! All three new loanee's looked good today. We looked like a threat going forward for a change. Edghill was very poor but made up for it with a goal line clearance and the cross which led to the goal. I'm still not overly impressed by Daley but hopefully he'll prove me wrong.
Impressed with Todd today tbh, I was very glad he brought EJ on for Bentham so we were more attacking at 2-1 and it paid off. A good result and a very deserved point!
Well Done City! tup:

True, but the youga sub was rather strange- he was playing well! Perhaps he got tired- reserve football is less demanding.

Good performance all round.
Still not feeling this Benthmania. I don't see what all the fuss is about? Yeh he wins the odd tackle but his distribution is terrible.
Youga looked decent - Tim Sticks & Turd all thought he struggled???
Dyer - MOM??
I must have been watching another game!

Good performance really, Daley should have scored an easy chance though which is pretty dissapointing really, Youga should have moved with the ball instead of just lumping it up the pitch! Edghill was poor, and how the hell did there striker manage to get past two of our defenders to score, did he ask politely or summat?
All in all...not bad signings CT!
Come on CITY! City Till i Die!
I think we ought to have sent Edgehill out on loan to a lower league team for a month or so for him to get some match practice before we threw him back in the first team. He has really struggled since that injury last season.
On a positive note I would like to see Ainge given a run out at right back. If he is a natural c/b he would still flourish playing for us r/b.

I thought Youga was one of our better players today, he was winning every header and had a very good all round game, Paynter and Dyer worked there socks off all game and created a few chances and paynter was unlucky with the two headers. We created quite a few chances which is pleasing to see after the last few games where we avnt really been gettin a sniff infront of goal. Probably the worst ive seen Bridge-Wilkinson play today, never realised before how lazy he his, thought schumacher deserves a mention today aswel tho he was good and looked well up for it charging into headers and tackles. Fuck knows what happened for there 2nd, it looked as tho Wethers n Edghill just stopped but each one of em must av thought the other was getting it i dunno, Edghill was fuckin shocking, despite the setup for goal and goal line clearence he just couldnt do anything rite, his marking is wank, and some of his passes are just stupid. Really enjoyed the game today tho, thought the atmosphere was good and the team battled hard and on another day could av won, didnt like it when the Todd Out chants started 15 minutes b4 the end, feels asif the fans who were chanting it had given up on gettin a result from the game, we played well and in the end got a good result so why av a go at todd again? He has done very well in trying to fill the gaps left by deano and JJ, and looks to have found a good couple of strikers in Paynter and Dyer. CTID

can't you give it a rest with the pro Todd blah blah? - there were only a handful of people chanting Todd Out.
Edghill was very rusty but at least was professional in his play and in reality saved the day for us with that goal line clearance and the cross for the equaliser.

I wasn't chanting todd out...although i was in doubt that we would come back! I think edghill was poor but we could have lost the game if it wasn't for his goal line clearence! Forest should have put the game to bed easily but Ricketts was on top form to save the game! EJ made a good impact, but i think he should have give him more time and we would have possibly won the game..he linked up well with dyer and paynter just sat behind them!
Next game the formation should be 4-3-1-2, as it looked good and we attacked more!

Im not pro todd Im just taking everything on its merit and he didnt deserve it today i just thought it was stupid to start getting on his back when we are trying to get back into the game, it breeds negativity and that is the last thing we need when we are actually playing well and battling. What are the players going to think if they work hard all game but then are told by the fans its not good enuff, they know if they arnt performing that the manager gets the flack.
