The Pub in leeds just round the corner from where i work!

Great place, looks like they have a really good amateur band venue, with plenty of space and some good beers, Amstel, Erdinger etc!

The food was great, B O G O F on all burgers, so went halves between me and a colleague, the burgers are massive and you get onion rings and chips!

Top food!

Menu was also pretty decent with a wide variety for both Carnivores and puffs!

8/10 Menu

Nah. Lord Brett Sinclair was a playboy upperclass detective played by Roger Moore alongside Tony Curtis who played a Playboy Millionaire Businessmen detective in the seventies television show the Persuaders.

According to IMDB; Danny Wilde. Wasn't he an Oil Baron or something?

A workmate once turned up to work in a pair of string backed driving gloves a couple of years back and one of the lads started calling him Brett Sinclair :D

The great Rodger Moore was and is in my opinion much slagged off as an actor. The guy made his name as Simon Templar(?) in The Saint then moved on to The Persuaders as Lord Adie Wom...sorry Brett Sinclair.
Then of course came Bond and the rest is history. There is a theme running through most of the parts he has played including the three mentioned above.......that is they were suave, sophisticated good looking fuckers.
Critics call him a woodern actor devoid of soul and charisma but I disagree and proclaim that he was and still is the master of parts like these.

He made a great movie with Lee Marvin set in Africa around the time of the first world war i think...cant think of the name of it but ......ahh Shout At The Devil....brill film as were most of his others.
Adie you#re nowt like him you tool...just being s-a-r-c-a-s-t-i-c:rolleyes:

No word of a lie here but my Dad was at the time of the Saint pretty much a dead ringer for Mr Moore. Dad bought from the great Freddie Truman a WHITE VOLVO P1800 SPORTS........this was the Saint Car of course.
One day Dad was in a cafe in leeds and the car was parked outside. Some kids came along and saw the car and thought hey ho its Rodger Moore and he must be inside this cafe.
A large scrum for my Dads autograph ensued and 30 odd years on he still wheels the story out to anyone who will listen...care staff and Matrons ecttup:
