Were playing the ring o bells on thursday Joe - with the greatest of respect mate, we need players who are experienced, fit and can handle themselves - in other words - blokes....tup:
Weve got two players lined up who've played for us before - both well over 6 foot, both in their late 20's, both extremely fit (one of ems a copper), both quality players who have experience - this is the type of player we need to take C&B forward, none of us are prepared to play if were gonna get a beating every week - this "its the taking part which is important" is pure bollox said by loosers.....its time to get serious now and be professional!!
Aidie - your nowhere near fit enough mate - get yourself fit and you'll be considered!!

Its a shame when claret and banter fc are looking off the boards for players when they have players on the boards willing to play, i mean it is supposed to be fun innit??tup: ;)

Can you honestly say that your a worthy replacement for Si or Booshie? You can't even run for longer than 2 minutes Adie....
Not being abusive, just being realistic mate - were taking the league seriously this season, its not just a kick about for a few folk off the messageboard - if it was then we'd end up like City hall centurians!!

I have played for crap teams and lost every week and turned up every week!

That same team developed and turned into a decent team who 3 seasons on won the league!

I WOULD TURN UP EVERY WEEK IF WE WERE LOSING!

Yes Adie but like we have found out in the past, you say you are up for playing but then can't make it for whatever reason! And then you go on for days about how you could have played/you would have done better/what a shame they lost - explain how that is fun! :rolleyes:

Look, mate... if you really want to play, just turn up every week in your kit. If we're short of subs, ie not 8 players available, i'm sure you'd be considered, if only to rotate players and give some a rest. In this scenario, you'd be a benifit to the team, instead of what you are now: which is very little of use.

Look, mate... just turn up. Nobody will think less of you if you don't get a game, and in fact, you'll prolly go up in many people's estimations, simply for backing up the bluster.
