Not bothering this week. I'm going to ring up and cancel. With no Matt, Rambo or Ed and it being a dead rubber for us this week anyway I've decided we might as well give it a miss. Rambo also seems pretty sure they're not turning up anyway. If they do, so what?! Plus it's a 2115 kick off in the middle of xmas week and that's a good enough reason!
Apologies to bantamenace, I know you wanted us to do you a favour but I'm sure you can manage a win to sort yourselves out!
I'll text everyone who's number I have to let them know and send pm's to the rest. I'm pretty sure I don't have 1911's number so could someone let him know for me, cheers.
We'll have to wait until next season for the rematch!

Rang up to cancel tonight and they said we'll still have to pay! Ah well. I'll try to use my wit and charm on the girl behind the desk next week to see if we can get out of it........ so that'll be an extra 4 quid each next week chaps! :D
I texted rambo to tell the other team to send someone so they don't end up losing 32 quid aswell but they'd already said the same to him! Perhaps they aren't such a bad lot after all!
I'm not sure but I think we might have to pay £20 before the start of the next league. I'll try to get them to take it out of the 32 we owe!

The new season def starts a week tomorrow then mate?.....
A couple of weeks off would have been good - altho i suppose they need to utilise the pitches, a cup competition or sommat would have been good tho!!
I suppose they'll just give you a ring to ask if were entering a team next season, and if we are we just look on the website for the fixture(s)?

Don't know to be honest. I've had no calls, letters or emails. I assume it will just carry on to the new league but they must be sending me a fixture list. I suppose they have to wait until the promotions and relagations are sorted. As soon as I know anything I'll post it on here.

I think its the right decision, and I'm sure quite a few other teams will be doing the same. Better still it gets me out of the round of drinks I was going to buy
