View Full Version : Sorry
I would like that apologise for my incredibly crap performance last night, I let everyone down specially as I was so up for the game.
If one had gone in off my arse It may off got me rolling instead my kicking/shooting in front of goal was worse than Delroy Facey and Danny Caddermateri combined and my defending left a lot to be desired.
Sorry for the woeful performance.

Good on you ED but we never hear city players saying sorry and over the past few years there should have been quite a few appologies -- I'm sure the rest off the team will allow you one bad performance --
But only one :D

Do't worry about it Ed, the team were beaten by a better team on the night who used their extra subs to their advantage and gradually ran the legs off us. We missed the pace of Si more than we realised & their youth & extra legs gave them a big advantage.

Ed, no need to apologise. The big difference was that they had fresh legs and used them often. They also could play a bit and are the second best side in our division - it will be a travesty if they don't go up.
KB, I wouldn't say we were all shit, I think the effort was there but it's hard to keep going when you are competing against superior fitness, superior players, a quicker team and a better passing team. We missed Si for his mobility, not so much pace, but when he is playing he makes himself available evrytime and it helps take the pressure off. Your comment last night was correct that we get deflated and we can't help that, in this game if your head goes down for a split second then you have lost 2 yards on your opponent.
Still, onwards and upwards eh?
