The team lost convincingly to a Windhill team that were quicker & really a better team.
With only 6 players to choose from with top scorer 1911 & Booshie absent against their 8, they started off well but Windhill's great use of their subs paid off. Keeping rotating the team meant they were a lot fresher than C&B & this paid off especially in the 2nd half.
Well done to Bantam Menace & his team who stay in second place in the league.
C&B scorers were JPH with 2, Rambo & Superfat with 1 each.

The Travellers mustn't have turned up again as the Marsh were awarded a 10-0 victory which should guarantee that C&B don't get relegated as the Travellers last 2 games if they turn up are against the top 2 in the league.

1st goal was JPH....
NO - JPH's shots were as weak as normal.....:D
And superfats goal celebration was like Monty Panesar's wicket celebration (ie, a bit camp, totally over the top and a bit daft looking) :D

JPH scored the first & Rambo was MOM. Superfats celebration when we were 14-3 down was frankly embarrassing;) :D for what could be construed as an og!!!......only joking Mark!tup:

Yeah cheers lads hope we win the last 2 to go up, thought you missed Si last night alot. It was like we were playing a totally different team from the one which drew 8-8, shame about the guy at the end booting one of our lads for no reason cos the game was played in good spirits up until then. Thought your man of the match was matt in net, made alot of good saves.

That was me BM.
Noticed you and one other of your team mates try to get me back though.

I think it was just frustration BM, in the second half we couldn't get near the ball at all, totally deserved win, good luck for the rest of the season.
You might have a free week cos it looks like The Travellers didn't turn up again with The Marsh being awarded a 10-0 win.
if the travellers don't win next week and we beat city hall centurians then we will stay up.
bloody ell - two weeks on the trot we are booting out at the opposition. we might still get that dirtiest team tag yet!

The Travellers last 2 games are against Hurricanes next week & then Windhill so i reckon they've dropped out by not turning up for the last 2 weeks

Menace, it's part of our approach, we have to kick at least one person. To be fair there was no need for it and I think it was sheer frustration. Thought you played well but your key player was the lad who got kicked, decent pace and a fair bit of skill.
Re my goal, I admit my celebration was over the top considering the scoreline but trust me when you are celebrating your second competitive goal in a 12 year playing career it feels like this:

The goal itself was reminiscent of this guy:

In fact Andy Gray was speechless in trying to describe the swerve, dip, reverse bend and power in the shot. The deflection made no difference to the outcome, it was taking the back of the net out anyway! tup:
