C&B 7 Travellers Rest 7
With the team down to the bare bones with JonnyD & Boosh still injured, the team took on the Travellers Rest & after a steady opening found themselves behind.
Si (1911) managed to hit back straight away but the lads fell further & further behind until at one point in the second half they were 7-2 down.
The Travellers had a man sent to the sinbin for 5 minutes for abusing the ref & this was the chance they needed using the extra space & they began a great comeback to claw their way back into the game . Even when back to the full 5 the momentum was with C&B. At the final whistle the score was 7-7, a great comeback 7 thoroughly deserved with the Travellers keeper having to be on top form all night. Scorers were Si with a great 6 & Rambo with the other.
Well played to all the lads & an honourable metion should go to Ed for stepping in to help at the last minute.

Great Comeback lads!! Very entertaining Game, Especially towards the end when you were steadily coming back i was really getting into it and at one point thought you were going to go on and win. Matt was lucky that the ref didn't see the ball cross the line at one point ;) otherwise the travs may have clinched it but i think the ref was scared of you having a go at him about the shirt incident :D Definately be down next week lads cracking game and hopefully we might get a win next week! :D

It were a great comeback - it totally changed the mood, had we lost then i doubt anyone would have stayed for a beer and if they had it would have been doom and gloom - at least the draw ensured we could have a few beers and a laugh afterwards!!!.....tup:
How the conversation turned to the pro's/cons of shaving your pubes off after a manly game of footy i'll never know......:eek: :D

First half was a bit poo, but back to our normal 2nd hand performancejump:

Thought everyone, except me, played well. Hopefully it will continue into our next game(not me part!)

Ardent viewers of hard core pornographic films will no doubt notice that most of the male actors do indeed fully shave their tools and tackle. This is to promote something of an optical illusion........it makes your knob look that much bigger and for these kind of people that is quite important.
I dont bother shaving mine of coursetup: tup: but I've heard Matty Boy clips carefully around a thimble.:eek:

Great match this week lads! (at least the last 10 mins!) Showed great character to come back from 5 goals down, too! Only 1 point between us and the softies, so keep it up!
Could of been much better had I finished better at the end, I made Ronnie Rossental's effort against Villa many moons ago look awessome :D
I've got no aches and pains today and the knee is fine, so guess i'll huff and puff again next week, really need to work on the fitness.

Well done lads we had a bit of a comeback ourselves but just wasnt enuff, we were 6-0 down to Hurricanes and brought it back to 6-5 with a minute left and hit the post in that last minute. Who you playing next week?
