I reckon the following are automatically in the team if they are fit:
........................................Ricketts.. ........................................
?????????...............Wetherall............Bower ....................Doyle
Johnson.................Bridge-Wilkinson....Schumacher...........?????????
...........................Windass................ ?????????..........................
That means that there are effectively 3 places that can change from week to week.
Who would you see as being the 3 who should make up the balance?
Doyle is a right back not left back :D
Well technically he's a defensive midfielder

Probably. Still doesn't alter the fact that there are only 3 spots to go for.

Parker, Black and EJ on the staff we've got at the minute or maybe move MBW out left & put Bentham in MF which would give Schuey freedom to get forward

I think what this highlights for me is that we have serious problems. What competition do these 7 or 8 players have, cos the way the midfield's been playing of late I wouldn't have Schuey and MBW as automatic picks. Fitness doesn't matter, it's their form that is the problem. Our biggest concern has to be that we lack any real competition for places, meaning players can continue having poor games without fear of being dropped.
So Todd's job is effectively to pick 3 players and fit them into a team who should effectively be the same week in week out.
Unfortunately Todd trys to keep players who have played one or two good games in the team but at the same time accomodate them by moving better players to positions they can't be as effective in.

Ainge in the middle, Bowser left back. That's one option. OBrien left back, Ainge in the middle, Wethers or Bowser dropped. There's another.
BMW on the left mid with options in the middle.
Colbeck right mid with JJ in the middle or up front. More options.
Doyle in the middle mid, Swift or Edghill right back.
There's plenty of room to move. It's just that Todd doesn't know when or which changes to make.

He won't play Luke O'Brien though Dutch . He brought in Parker from Leeds who's the same age, what does that tell you!

Insane, he gave Parker loads of chances but not his own youth player of the season, the most highly rated kid we have. It took Parker long enough to settle so why not our own instead of some kid with the same experience from L**ds.

he has loads of players to fook up with - any reason - apart from Howarth being total sheit - that Donovan has not played at left back yet?????
